not easy if you have to sack yourself being the owner, first team manager and any other job going at the club. really he has got them even if its for one season into the highest position that club has ever been in. its about expectations where if they had finished 5th bottom it would be classed as success where for pools that would be seen as an absolute disaster.

He started the club from scratch and he has done an incredible job for a novice. Problem is he now thinks he really is a god.

Each terrace is only an inch higher than the one below, so if you are a shortarse you have to be at the front.

Still, Dorking must have something about them as they turned Chesterfield over a few weeks back. Can’t envisage anything better than another tame, end of season 1-1 draw but Pools can surely only improve on the dire display in the corresponding game at the Vic - even taking into account the bare bones of the squad being available.
