He’ll still be quicker than our midfield trio.

he looks like the average sunday league defender who you know you will get some grief from during a game. mind you he,ll frighten some of ours to death when they see him in the line up.

If I’d came up against him I’d have just called him ‘Sir’.

Yes it's LD but he plays mainly midfield, 36 going on 37. so don't think he will playing (much) next season.

FGR won't enjoy visiting Tamworth as they play at the LAMB ground, a no no for them vegans!

Played centre half against us a week into Watsons tenure as manager, so basically sideshow bobs side. We didn’t lay a finger on him when it was crying out for some pace against him. The other defenders basically covered for him while he swept up anything they missed. Like a poor man’s Steve McNulty. When I saw him warming up I thought it was a fan that had won a prize to experience the warm up with the players.

Tamworth were god awful, just shows how bad the league is that they have won it.

Pleased to hear KP is solving the problem of lack of pace in our midfield.

like having a team on the pitch and not 11 individuals who might be better players.

I reckon some Pools players theme song should be…’I did it MY way’…bollocks to the manager.

The triumph of teamwork over talent.
You get points for winning, not entertainment value and football success is measured in points by combining the two, but team work must always come first.

If you acted in employment like this lot have, you’d be out of business, but if your manager gave you a specific instruction, you might disagree but you’d do it.

My ode to any underperforming football team.
To the tune of …..My Way….or…… ‘We did it our way.’

violin
And now, the season’s done,
And we’ve avoided relegation,
So celebrate you fans,
We felt like we, were a sensation.
We played, as we saw fit,
The manager’s demanded their say,
Ignoring their advice,
We played it Our way.
violin

Yes there were times,
When you fans you knew,
We weren’t performing,there for you,
But after all, when we got beat,
We didn’t lose a lot of sleep,
We played the game, it’s down the drain,
We played it our way.
violin

Regrets, who gives a toss?
But then again there’s none to mention,
We did, what we shouldn’t do,
Ignore the managers intention.
We played the way we play, cos we know best,
There’s nowt more to left to say
The fan’s don’t understand we did it our way. :violin:

I was thinking of sinking him adjacent to the Heugh Breakwater….that should do the job.
