Undr the Cosh, nearly 2 hours, I haven’t watched it as yet.I am sure his days at Darlo and his relationship with George Reynolds will be mentioned as the thumbnail suggests, not sure he was there when Raj Singh was there as well after George Reynolds ?

Three goes at manager and proved that the popular saying ‘third time lucky’ is a load of cobblers.

Enjoyed watching it bit long though. I was once told Pools tried to get him in the IOR regime but he turned us down because he had just signed a number of players for Darlington and felt he would be letting them down.

Odious wanker- the darLO manager never bothered me before or since- but he truly was a cretinous arsehole and definitely stoked the Poolies hatred towards them.

I still find it hard to believe that there is now a whole generation who haven't witnessed a derby game. I used to feel sick with worry before those games- only games that come close to that level of pre match stress were the play off finals.

Think the beginning of the end was when Gorgeous George published the eye watering wages their players were on in the Northern Echo- it all fell apart after that. Mind you they did have heskulators, gold taps and a carvery to look forward to!

I don’t think IOR would have allowed Hodgson to carry on working as an agent, watching the video that’s where he was making his money, the Darlington job was his sideline.
Hodgson never mentioned about being approached for any other managers job, he come across as a bit over powering, the 3 lads couldn’t get a word in.

Don’t forget the grand piano in reception at the Stadium of Chav.

Behave, you, me, or anyone else on here is not that precious. Laugh at yourself, it’s what keeps me going in the end.

Came across as a chewy piss head n very proud of it.
Interviewers very poor standard.
Not a patch on the x Poolies podcasts.

Agree there, interviewers are embarrassing, there are some really decent podcasts but only made decent by the person who is on it.

If I was having a go at you our kid, you would know about it.
I was taking the piss, which was what the bunker was built on. If you had been here a bit longer you would have recognised that. You are beginning to get a complex that you are being singled out for "attention". You are not that important mate but you are a source of entertainment.
As I have said elsewhere you do bring it on yourself though.

I was taking the piss when I replied to your comment Derwent, I might set myself up but in more instances or not it’s intended, I leave a ‘loaded’ comment and some Bunkerites jump in with 2 feet then it all kicks off.

Those games were the biggest motivation of my season year on year. Incredible atmosphere pure hatred but immensely enjoyable unless you lost. Who can forget Joe Joe Joe Allon taking his shirt off after scoring the winner at feathams. Then that outstanding atmosphere when Efion scored that long range superb goal in the 0-3 slaughter of the Loids. Please Darlo get moving up to a division we play in ASAP

Go on then I'll play. Let me guess the loaded comment in this contribution. You are pretending to tell us you are a nark and a wind up merchant so I'll jump in with two feet. One two three here goes..........YOU ARE A NARK AND A WIND UP MERCHANT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good game, do I get a prize.

apart from wanting us to beat them i always wanted darlo to win and become runners up to us inleague titles. however from the arrival of gorgeos george and what came along with his circus i was quite happy to see em what they became. years have mellowed me since then but would love a derby EFL game with them. feel in our present situation a cup or trophy game would never feel the same.
