Looks like there wasn’t any corruption, my a*** there was it was covered up, it would interesting to know who was involved in the enquiry. Michael Gove orderd it, he is a Tory though, Musgrave and co have walked away with millions.

Not sure about a car but definitely wouldn't let him mind my kids for one minute. He reminds me of a dodgy scout master who specialises in taking kids on camp trips rakxe

The subject was brought up in Question Time from The Boro the other week, one of the audience was singing the praises of Houchen to the surprise of the audience,
turns out she is related to Houchen. This was mentioned in the podcast the Rest is Politics on YouTube with Rory Stewart and Alistair Campbell.
I can hear Snowy yawning just now.

Snowy might not be yawning Jamie but I am. It is about time you accepted the result of events. You can't accept anything that goes against your wishes. First Brexit, which you still haven't accepted and now this.

I am not turning the forum into my own personal political platform, other posters post political topics not just me Derwent. Unfortunately I have the opposite views of many of the posters, even on the footy side all hell broke lose on the board after the Gateshead game with name calling etc.

The far eastern owners closed it in 2015, it stood empty because it was no longer viable.

The point I was making I rushed my post due to the euphoria of Pools win was the lady who was singing the praises of Ben Houchen on QT was the wife of a colleague of Houchen, Brian Robinson Director of Teesside Airport who was sat next to her in the audience.
Loads of hands raised but she was ‘selected’ to comment, strange she was wearing a pink scarf in a warm environment obviously to make her more identifiable.
It was a deliberate ploy by the BBC to promote Houchen in the up and coming Mayoral Elections in May. Watch the Campbell/Stewart video, 6.35 minutes in,

You are quite happy to see 2 people pocket over £50 million in profit in less than a year in business when there is an NHS crisis, schools are dropping to bits through faulty concreter, child poverty is at its highest level ever as is the use of food banks etc.
What started of as 50/50 business ended up 90/10 in the favour of the businessmen with no proper tendering

You might see Tice up here in the coming weeks as the Council Elections and the Mayoral Elections are on May the 2nd, it might givehim an indication of how he will fair in the GE. Although local elections are not always an indicator how results in a GE are, 10 Reform Candidates stood in the Council Elections last time,
as far as I am aware none were elected.
I think Farage is standing by in case the Tories invite him to rejoin or maybe even Reform will form a coalition with the Tories.

Who said they weren't allowed to Snowy, I was stating the bleeding obvious, there will a lot of focus on Hartlepool in the MSM with Tice standing as the candidate in the GE with comparisons to the convincing Tory win in the last GE.

Too true, this is the first General Election where there’s no one to vote for in Hartlepool, our current MP will be gone, Tice will do what he always does and split the vote, the Labour apparatchik will do as he’s told in Starmer’s ’ ‘New Model Army’ as MP, the LibDems will hope no one mentions the Postmasters scandal so I’m opting for the ‘Stranton Allotment Holders League of Light’ and Arthur Honeypot for MP.

The smutty comment is the name of the party, Tessaban Tha Thongs, ah well at least you got one thing correct, Surat Thani is a city.
