That's probably because the mind associates football on a Saturday and it being football yesterday on a Friday, naturally believes today is Sunday.

Yesterday felt like Saturday and so will Monday - that'll be 4 Saturdays in 8 days??? On the other hand we lose a Monday and who likes Monday's?

Can’t afford four Saturdays in eight days.
Now I’ve retired I love Mondays….watching people going to work and every day is a ‘no stupid gaffer’ day…

i always hated sunday more because i had to go to school or work the next day. when i had weekends off i loved friday night knowing i,d got two days of freedom coming up. i was well known for my loud shout of freedom going through the school or office door on a friday.

disagree. going there makes you realize that your lot isn,t as bad as you thought it was. even in defeat, which isn,t unusual at spottyland as we all know that we do not have to live there. it must be bad as i imagine their fans are jealous of luton. being a wank holiday the shops will be shut, but that makes little difference as most are shut anyway.
