Can anyone else hear this?

I'm hearing these loud bangs quite a distance away, sounds like thunderclaps but they're too frequent. Anyone shed any light on this? Are there any events on tonight, or a shootout?

It's the sound of bubbles bursting down the A66. :grin:

Sounded like explosions to me too. They definitely weren't fireworks and too regular for thunder. Sounded like it was coming from the direction of Bishop Cuthbert, but it was really far away. Must've been fooking loud wherever it was. Went on for about 5 minutes at least, I thought it was my shooting game at first

There were 10 minutes of very loud fireworks from 10pm at the Peterlee Show, so I guess that's what you heard!
