I’m glad you said ‘walks’ there…one wrong letter and it could have been a bit naughty.

Jamie ..if you’ve just been run over by a car, why would you think laying in your hospital bed on life support…I fancy trying that again?

Snowy the full game should be put on repeat and the players made to sit down and watch it all day., make them suffer like the fans who paid money to watch it did.

Would it bother them?
I wonder if some of them know they're moving on at the end of the season and are looking after themselves rather than being professional and doing their best for their present employers?
The difference between the first couple of games under Philips and recent games suggests some underlying unrest.

End of the day Jamie, most of them are just contractor's and move on to the next job and don’t give a monkey’s, the genuine lads I suspect are a minority, but they do exist.

After such a dazzling cameo by Captain Fantastic its difficult to understand why he's playing for us isn't it?

Would have thought that was obvious to someone like you.
You know the answer to your own question ffs.
As you have laboriously pointed out previously.
Cant tackle ,wont tackle, wont track back.
And can only pass sideways like a crab.
That's why we have the useless f/ker.
Opinions eh?
Maybe boycott his testimonial mate?
Would fit your profile imo.

And you laboriously attempt to try to change opinions on him too. I mean seriously after a humiliation you highlight his 1 moment in a 97 minute match. He was a mouse among men, and even allowing for his weaknesses, did he show any leadership qualities at all? As captain of that sinking ship he was first into the boat and nowhere to be seen.

Don't do any testimonials or many friendlies.

Another ridiculous comment imo.
You actually expect Capt Fantastic to single-handedly compensate for the rest of the team being a complete shower of shite?
Him being only "a mouse among men" too?
Cruyff himself on his own would have made no difference to change what happened last night.
Superman maybe.
Please with respect try to make sense occasionally.

The men were in black and white. Can you dig out any lips of Fev seeing the team up, helping any of the teenagers on the team out, rollicking anyone for giving the ball away - thought not.
He did a fantastic job at the coin toss before ko though I'll give him that.

Yep will get right onto it.
Dig out Capt Fantastic ....
"Geeing the team up"
"Helping any teenagers out"
Will be difficult cos highlight vids tend not to include geeing and helping out and that kind of stuff.
Cruyff turns yes.
Like the comment about the coin toss tho.
Hilarious.
What cartoons do you like?
Comics?

OK I'll make it even easier, I watched the full 97 mins albeit from my TV and I didn't see any leadership from your man himself whatsoever. Did you watch and can you recall any - be honest now?

Why the insults when you haven't got an answer? Is grown up debate too much for you?

Are you for real?
What are you saying?
The cameras were on Feaths for the whole 97 minutes ffs.
Is that what you're saying?
Feaths could have been doing all the "geeing up" in the world when the ball was elsewhere and he wasn't in the picture.
"I didn't see any leadership"
Really.
You call this grown up debate.
I'll leave it there.
You are dragging me down to your level mate.

I call polite exchange of views and opinions without resorting to insults and snide comments grown up debate.
You just can't do it without either can you?

You obviously rate the man, I don't rate him at all as a holding midfielder although he is much better when he plays more in the opponents half. For me he shouldn't be captain, Waterfall or Parkes would be better imo.

Couple of things

1. Despite being no excuse if we were playing football like Gateshead do we would be collectively knocking one out, a bunch of genuine footballers really well coached

2. Big diff in 2-1 game and this one is we were actually coached, we were lucky to win but had a clear plan of when to press and when to stand off, that was non-existent under Phillips and who I think genuinely is clueless on tactics. Buy the best players with a vastly superior budget while spouting ra ra nonsense and mentions his playing career then Phillips is your man, coaching a team with a flexible coherent plan…not so much
