That Phillips contract is only to the end of the season. (another rumour)

If so after saying this " KP said he 'cant be too harsh on the players after that " he can feck off.

Fergie is a prime example of a player that knows whatever he does he's in the team next week.
Been like that a long time.

I remember one club i was at and the first half was a shit show.
The Chairman had had enough and stormed into the dressing room at half time and blasted the players.

never heard or saw that being posted on here when he made that good start. remember lee getting some good press and fans were glad he arrived before his wheels came off. thought my memory was bad, but must be a lot better than some.

could not give a toss what he says in public as it might be far removed from what he says in private. he could easily have gone down the line of saying what many want to hear and how would that change anything. yes a few players need dropping after tuesday night but tell everyone who should be replacing them. duffus up front and cooper as a holding midfielder.
