Maybe it was a case of he came, Phillip’s saw, Phillip’s rejected.
You have to give em a try before you ditch them.

Cass was good at Pools under Challinor but he seems to have gone backwards since leaving. Challinor signed him for Stockport on loan obviously on what he had seen at Pools. However he has been dropped by Challinor and not fancied by their fans. Will probably be a free transfer at the end of season.

Rochdale fans never rated or hated him. That was enough for me to think why why why did we sign him and who was behind this stupid signing. I am a KP fan but if he spotted this lad and brought him in I would have to seriously reconsider my opinion of him. I suspect it was someone else and that person needs to follow this lad out of the club after the loan ends.

I would bring Cassy back as soon as possible. One of the best young players to come here and do a real good job. Imagine having a fit Mancini Cass and Dodds all in the same team. I have always thought that Doddsy would be a much better player and much more effective in a wide role or attacking midfield role.

Dodds in CM would be brilliant.
The same as Baldwin was, although we stuck him at centre back most of the time.

no just leave him in his natural position and not piss him around like we do with crawford. just sign a CM who has played there before.

I said this also hes a much more adapt to the right wing or right of a midfield 4. Hes the type of player you need in this league. Can do a job in multiple positions. Trust us to have the 2 better of our players injured. More players who can be utlity players will do us the world of good.
id also opt for a left winger / wing back and someone who could also operate at CB and CDM. Be a perfect mix given the players we will be left with for next season. Cass back would be a nice little start !

He is playing tonight I hope to hell he will stay in his position and not drift forward chasing lost causes.
