Pools will try to defend but wont be good enough. Probably hold out for a while but will go down 2-0 not having had a shot on target.

if we could rely on getting a few more points i,d actually like us to get a hammering so there is no papering over the cracks and KP knows for a certain who to show the door to at the end of the season if he,s undecided on a few. can learn about the character of a player more in a heavy defeat than a win would.

Highly doubt that holds about 3000 plus. We had only sold 850 yesterday.

Haven't got a scooby do about tonite.
But got major respect to how a club with 1200 followers shows very high ambitions.
And good luck to them after tonite.

Their last two crowds have been 800, can you imagine if we got crowds like that? The first excuse out of the hat would be we cant compete with these teams. Now the boots on the other foot the excuse is ah but attendances dont mean much nowadays.

second excuse would be that the club is closing down due to lack of interest from the fans.

They also ain't bankrolled like Spennymoor.
A few on here try to belittle them when there manager went to MK Don's.
Maybe they get the best refs and are very lucky.

Grey puts us ahead. Always great to go a goal up. My memory isnt what it was but am I right in thinking that if Grey scores the first goal we lose or draw?

Sitting back? Hmm. Probably do ok in first half but not score a second and then play like fannies in the second half. Hope I'm wrong.

Seems like this only going one way which most of us predicted. Just a bit of a shock us taking the lead. Pools eh. Give you hope and then whip it away.

good first 15 but very sobering after that--they are so much better in terms of passing movement coaching etc...

always hope when its still 1-1

Just waiting to lose this. Who on earth is our right back? Has someone jumped on the pitch impersonating a footballer.

Decent start, then the usual sitting back & letting Hees get well into out half, before trying to stop them.
Loads of balls getting played to Heeds overlapping RB because of it,who got plenty of crosses in.

We really need to wake up in the second half. Fergie is horribly exposed at the back - several times he's been defending against two Heed players. Our midfield is none existent because they're standing just outside of our penalty area defending (Crawford and Feaths have hardly been in Gatesheads half). We need to stop standing off and letting them come at us and get the bastard ball and do something with it. Jameson had a good first half and was about a cm from saving the Pen. The new lad playing at RB is all over the place (and not in a good way).

even their commentator noticed fergy,s plight. agyamang started down that side but seems to have wondered away from it.

He isnt the answer is he---I can see Raj binning him before season end (not that hes had a much of a chance) then the usual excuses while we fanny about getting someone else in and make last minute signings.

Everyone who was watching could see what was coming. Tactics didnt work at woking, they didnt work at Eastleigh so lets sit back all game against a side that likes having possesion, pathetic management im afraid and looks way out of his depth tonight.

the gulf here is truly eye watering.

We get the ball, punt it long, then just sit back as gatsehead pass through us---on repeat--very one sided
