That has got to be one of the worst displays by men in an England shirt I have ever witnessed. Second half we deliberately refused to cross the half way line. Backwards, sideways, anyways but forwards.

Cheers. Hope his 28 minutes or so were not too arduous. We need him at his best for Saturday against the mighty Eastleigh.

Watched the match….I think you could call it frantic high energy end to end stuff with few highlights of note. Pissing down and 800 close harmony Welshmen.
You’d wake up with a stiff neck this morning if you were watching on the halfway line.
The concept of the midfield was redundant in the game.

Well it was a C game.
I think England in the title fooled a few.
Sounds like I'm an international for the England tiddlywinks team.

more or less the same though than when there were ameteur internationals played years ago but with possibly less of an interest and a lower number of fans watching.

The game wasn't even listed on the BBC Scores and fixtures with no match report either.

No midfield play - should have suited Mani D to the ground.

They seemed to be just lobbing balls onto the box but nowhere near Mani…the ball arrived vertically, totally pointless.

When Mani came on, there were three strikers up front with an aggregate of 83 goals this season between them. Proven strikers at this level ( National league and Welsh Premier). What the coaching staff didn't take into account when they decided to have these three up front was the fact they would still need service. Mani hardly touched the ball such was the lack of service. Passing the ball around at the back doesn't create many chances regardless of how many strikers are twiddling their thumbs waiting for it.

Plus the total inaccuracy of set piece delivery which overshot the runway too often.

It was dire - we started the game well with the 2 left sided players having the welsh defenders on toast.
Subs made a difference for all of 10 minutes, which thankfully Mani D was one of them. He didnt put himself about and i think soon realised it was a lost cause and to keep his season alive by being fit with us. Their goal was half decent strike from a free kick, up until that point the lad from Chester looked very composed and made some good saves.
Was impressed with a few of the England lads and the lad that came on with Mani up top wouldnt look out of place in the NL. Hoping KP watched that one as the lad was lively and you could see why hes 32 odd goals to the good already this season (Worthing i think he played for ?).

Stupid pointless game, they should make it for non-full time pros only

Knowing our luck, I’m surprised he never got injured ….icing on the headstone time.

yes, and play the game say in october and not the end of a season with players eyeing promotion or relegation at the league clubs they play for.
