Dear me Snowy, you certainly have it in for O’Brien, what’s he ever done to you, I am not particularly keen on the fella as he can be a bully at times but when reading his book he can’t bully me, and no I am not his publicist.

Jamie, you just confirmed you’re not keen on him and he’s a bully, so why bother wanting to know his opinion on anything.
Nick Ferrari is the most reasonable middle of the road bloke you can find…going by your interpretation of right wing, I’d advise you to have your political compass urgently checked.
Do you only turn left at road junctions out of conviction  ….and end up going round in circles?

totally agree but its a good idea to listen to him and read his book if its free to give you even more ammunition against him. bit like a general putting the picture of his opponent on the wall.

Snowy why is Ferrari the most reasonable middle of the road bloke, that’s only your opinion. I read loads of books but I don’t necessarily like the authors, it’s good to get views from both sides not just by listening to a radio programme, if Nick Ferrari brought a book out I would read it first then give my opinions on him.
Right off to bury my head in O’Briens book, early days I haven’t reached the the chapters about the people who broke Britain yet, I will keep you up to speed Snowy.

I am pretty clear what O'Brien thinks about all the major talking points by how he conducts himself on his radio show. I have no need to read his book. Same with Nick Ferrari, if he wrote a book I wouldnt need to read it because I already know what he thinks from what he says on the radio although in Ferrari's case I have no grudge.

Now I have a problem. Do I take what you say at face value, like I did with the message in the empty tin or do I dismiss it in case it leads to someone accusing me of being easily led and gullible.
Decisions.
Point of order though. I went from Office junior to works manager, not from the factory floor.
Am I clever to have done that. That's for others to decide but you appear to consider such an achievement worthy of consideration as clever.
I have never seen it written as possibly being clever, until now. What is clever to one person might not even be noticed by another person. It paid well though which was very satisfying. It was just the beginning as I went on from there to become a Director of an oil and chemical distribution company as well as owning a third of it. That paid even better. I retired aged 58, 21 years ago and am looking forward to my 80th birthday later this year. If that makes me easily led and gullible, I haven't done bad out of it, so maybe I'll just keep it up for a little while longer. You keep trying to lead me down the garden path and I'll keep pretending to fall for it and we can have some fun.

Well I did deliberately go in a bit studs up as I hate being pigeon holed, I’m sure you’re thick skinned enough to take it although you did go very defensive with the reply. You’re not the only one to retire in your 50’s. Also sorry for ruining your well polished empty tin anecdote.

I thought pigeon holing you would hit a nerve. You were actually pigeon holing others as easily led and gullible, so I tried it in reverse and, as usual, it worked.

Skin thick as a Rhino my friend.

Absolutely not the only one to retire in my fifties, would never dream of claiming that.

No need to apologise for ruining my anecdote, you were actually highlighting it by giving it air.

Actually I was convinced you were on the wind up at my expense and that doesn't bother me one bit. You're not the first and won't be the last.

Good bit of banter, free from animosity or abuse, just the ticket. clappp

In my haste to reply and for openness I did conveniently forget my vote for Labour in 1997 sick of all the sleaze and expenses at the time, luckily things are much better now eh

You crack on, how about trying Mein Kampf…then you can then get Adolfs take on life and it’s tribulations…or Stalin’s book on the purges, riveting read if you’re into eliminating your enemies ….perceived or unreal.

Like I said, do you need to read Hitler’s Mein Kampf to understand his viewpoint as a genocidal megalomaniac to discover you really aren’t too keen on him?
No… because we all know what he’s about…and getting his view point will change absolutely nothing.

If you're purely talking about the expenses scandal, things are probably better but we are talking about politicians so I'll keep me powder dry on that one.

It’s for his political image, once you read James O’Briens books you will find a lot more truths about Farage, truths they are if not Farage would be suing him for libel.
O’Brien interviewed Farage live on the radio, after 15 minutes Farage was pulled out of the interview by his advisor as he was digging holes for himself.

the one thing that always puts me off farage is that pint in hand photo shots of him. does he actually finish the pint and if he did and ordered a few more how does that make him a better politician than if he was t total. next thing we,ll see him in tracky bottoms or baggy jeans that look as if they,ll be round his ankles without the help of others.

Finished reading the book, nothing in it I didn’t really know about, although interesting as to why think tanks have so much influence, how a non elected fella Cummings had so much influence, Johnson was said by many of his peers he should never have been PM and how he could keep a straight face telling bare faced lies, I didn’t realise he had been sacked from so many jobs, Corbyn should never have been the Labour leader, too in-depth to explain, not one of my favourite persons though.
Conclusion I wasted £10 to read in general apart from a few snippets stuff which had been in the MSM.

You have no idea who the peers are, you never read the book, I am referring to therefore you are not in a position to critisice them. I mean peers in inverted commas not lords and barons etc, as usual at every opportunity digging me up diving in with both feet, you need to get your Jamie hating head off.
