I think all those comments should have been kept for the dressing room because that sort of reaction sounds like a manager appealing to the fans and owners covering his own back.
If they were that bad I’d follow them down the tunnel, lock the dressing room door and read them the riot act while still angry, not take the time to do an interview which can wait, the team discussion always comes first.

Worth remembering this bloke lead his team to a 4-1 win against Chesterfield just over a week ago so he must be doing something right.

Yes he created the rise to where they are now but this is embarrassing, he probably realises now that the dream is over and they will be heading back down the leagues. He doesn't seem to be able to differentiate between banter and leadership.
