Aygemang is back per my advice !

Think will be an excellent signing, gives us something in the middle we dont have.

Impressed with Phillips spotting issues and addressing them

Probably got input from Sweens on Aygemang, I'm guessing. As a midfielder himself he'd recognize what the Boro lad brings to the table.

I'm quite impressed that he wants to come back to Pools and knows that he can do better. As he says on the OS "I feel as though I've got a lot more to give from my last spell here." KP calls it "unfinished business."Let's hope so.

i have seen worse performances from a young pools loanee. trusty was one that never lived up to that name and it can be looked at as a positive if the lad can come out with what he promised.

wasnt impressed by him again at all - seems he hasnt got much better from the last time we seen him.

We cannot expect to be pushing for promotion with these kind of last minute signings - its scraping the barrel again which isnt what we where promised by KP. He hopefully will be used as more an impact sub.

Putting together a team on a saturday with new players doesnt work unfortunately, we have seen it far too often this season.

Cannot wait for us to have a settled 11 back

I totally agree with you but would ask the question: when have we ever had a setttled 11? The team has been in a constant state of flux for the majority of this season and last.

I was going to refer out to the last time - it was under DC and it got us promotion.

Just shows how much having a game plan and constant 11 players can make the difference - The top 4 teams this season have all had that and its showing.

This time next season and all that !

As I recall, Graeme Lee had a fairly settled side and were doing OK until they all got their deck chairs out.

I thought Chesterfield have constantly changed the starting 11. And have made 5 or 6 changes many times over. sctatchinghead

yes, but i,d guess all are first teamer types who fans could argue who their best team is. ours more or less picks itself. be nice to give KP a selection headache as it was for askey.

I think the signings Lee made in the January window played a big part in his downfall, not least because Gav Holohan was squeezed out of the side to accommodate them!
Omar Bogle started with a bang but by the back end of the season looked like he wasn't interested.
Marcus Carver was a terrible signing and he's back in the NLN where he belongs - along with Jake Hull and Isaac Fletcher.
Joe White couldn't live up to all the hype - probably he was just too young. He's had a good loan spell at Crewe this season.
Most Poolies wrote off Bryn Morris as a sick note, but Lee was right to want to sign him. He's been an ever-present for Newport this season.

Despite all Raj's talk about pushing the boat out, the only decent signings were Bogle and Morris. A lot more was needed.

just wish lee would not get the flak for holohan. his problems started in the challinor era and just wanted away obviously before lee walked in. the situation with him might have gone too long and lee could never resolve it.

Chesterfield have swapped an changed but what i meant was they have a first team equivalent replacement should a first teamer get crocked or carded. They have a consistent 15. Even under Lee we didnt have a bench.
Did we ever find out what the GH thing was al about !
