After having a previous comment removed by the BBC re women’s footy I just had to comment when a Women’s England friendly game took precedence to the Leed v Leicester game in the footy headlines, guess what it was removed !

I presume the BBC Moderation Team are headed up by Women. This is grossly unfair to Men.

Pinatar Cup (Apparently two womens cup games featuring Philippines, Scotland, Slovenia and Finland)

And then it goes on to the lower Scottish leagues and the other world Leagues.

I can't figure out what possesses anyone in their right mind, to slip those two bits of womens football into todays set of fixtures.

I looked at the appeal process, it’s not that simple, loads of hoops to jump through.

Of course. The idea is that you give up so they dont have to deal with it. Even if you jump through all the hoops they will decide they are in the right. Typical of the woke BBC. They dont like anyone who opposes their liberal agenda.

They’ll put a obstacle course in front of you bumpf and nonsense with more diversions than the M25 till you end up in a cul de sac and give up in despair.

Surely you have better things to do than post negative comments on the bbc website? Ok maybe not but if you don't then make sure you don't try to provoke a debate about which is the most important game rather than simply commenting on the news article about that particular game. They have house rules to that effect. Don't be disappointed if they subsequently remove any comments as you'll only have yourself to blame.

What he chooses to comment about is his business. If they’re using the system to filter out that of which they disapprove, then the only views expressed will be those that conform to their ethics and beliefs.
Therefore you end up with a picture or set of opinions that are not giving a full spectrum of all opinion.

Thats true but unless the topic he chooses to comment on is along the lines of; what is more important women's or men's football? Then his comment will simply be removed due to their house rules. I mean it's that simple. His comment isn't helpful as the response will be completely subjective based on who you are asking, a young female football fan will have one answer and a middle aged male chauvinist would have another.

You seem to have revealed your own prejudice there, referring to a ‘young female football fan’ but then refer to the ‘middle aged man’ as a ‘male chauvinist’..tut, tut…a severe case of prejudging someone’s character on the basis of your expectations.
They’re a public body, if they can’t cope with diverse opinions they may be more at home in North Korea’s version of the BBC.

Spot on, Mr Snowy. The BBC and their mainstream mates are all about being "inclusive" but to achieve this they exclude a significant amount of opinion which is different to their own. Why shouldn't Jamie's opinion be "included".

I don't think you can read. I'm taking examples of stereotypes. How does that reveal my prejudice? I was simply using extreme examples. What is clear are the BBC's house rules. If you don't like them you can write to the bbc. But if you keep posting non relevant shite what do you expect? I mean you could replace the Leeds Leicester match with anything in that complaint couldn't you? The war in Ukraine, save the whales, Gaza, international cheese rolling, strictly come dancing. I mean the list goes on. Whatever you put it would not be relevant to the article and so was removed. Simple really. I can say that can't I without risk of being called a communist snowy?

they obviously have an agenda---I have nowt against womens game and think its a great thing to get more girls particpating/having role models etc..

But constantly being told the game is 'exploding' and the way any dissent or common sense is squashed puts people off.

Its a v different games to Mens and shouldnt really be compared, personally having watched mens football for decades, i find the womens game slow and less interesting, and I dont really have a team i care about to make up for it.

they are or just refusing to pay in droves. those who do pay i,d guess will pay it like council tax bills because it saves em hassle to just pay. if only a tv engineer could come to my house and disable a channel i rarely watch i would not mind paying the percentage the woke channel does not receive. really you do not tax or insure a car if you have not got one.

The BBC appears to have its own standards which sometimes gives the impression they really are the chosen one’s …. You either comply with their dictates or you’re ignored, lectured or condemned….they don’t want to hear everyone’s views, just those that coincide with their mindset.

basically instead of just informing the population they are now lecturing it to follow their party line. once it was considered a bit of a stuffy slightly right of centre organisation but over the years its got worse and worse going the other way that got worse with the covid period and the culture wars.

At the end of the day we live in a country supposedly with free speech, the media are now trying to control us by deleting comments that are not on their agenda. Yes certain comments need to be looked at but one about women’s footy not offensive in any way being deleted is beyond belief.

We have to embrace it and show we aren’t bitter, twisted, undesirables….but I was that long before ‘women’s’ football became along.

Beyond belief albeit there won’t be many complaints as I am sure the viewing audience is predominantly women ?
If Sky etc ever buy into women’s football and make it subscription only the same as men’s what will the reaction be ?

possibly well below zero and women will be first to cheer that decision.

If women want to play football, play football…but the proof of the pudding at the higher level is how many women will turn up week in week out to support a women’s team?

at the top they,ll get decent crowds but below that level i doubt it. women on the whole are not over keen on team sports and would rather do anything than watch football live on a cold sunday. i set a monthly quiz at our over 50,s group which are mainly women on a monday. they moan like hell if i put an even local or aquestion most blokes would find too simple for words. like who presents match of the day or the full name of the local rugby league side.
