I dont believe Singh had any real intentions of selling Pools, if the new manager proves a success he will not sell Pools not unless an inflated offer is made one which he can’t refuse.

We are talking major repairs not just a small mechanical fault, why would a brand new coupling fail ? It says it’s a coupling failure, not being a mechanical person I would have thought it would have undergone numerous NDT ?

Just received my bi-monthly review of Warship World, it’s a coupling, find a new source of supply with the correct tensile strength and check the torque/ power ratio.

We’ll have to ask Blair, he ordered them without taking heed that vessels that large also need a huge fleet chain to support them, the couplings are the least of the worries, in fact it wouldn’t surprise me if the real reason is the fleet train isn’t there to support them.
We have roughly ten frigates …10….shockinng, we had 50 in the late 80’s, but the Tory’s always did like cutting defence surprisingly.

It's failed on purpose, the company who supplies the bits, clearly needs to make more money out of the MOD or the MOD didn't take the extra Warranty out on it... :violence-smack:
