at least it gives a small traditional northern non league club some free publicity they would never had without this. better than them getting involved with some plastic southern outfit with less than 500 fans unless they get a cup game.

We had members of Kasabian at a few games last season, apparently there was some sort of sponsorship in the offing but its gone quiet since.
The link is Chris Edwards brother was born in Darlo and is a fan of sorts....

Might still be ongoing as these things sometimes take a while to happen but its probably one of them too good to be true cases!
I was actually sat with Chris Edwards during pre match hospitality at one game. From what I heard the band members who came to a few games really enjoyed it so you never know......

Me dad said Glenn Miller once went past Pools when his train was detoured fro Scotland to London and paused near the Vic, but never decided to buy Pools, good job considering what happened.

more likely a consortium headed by garry glitter, rolf harris and cliff richard would turn up.
