anyone know any where that will fix a Epson printer its an R300 Stylus Photo

Chuck it away. Printers cost next to nowt these days. They're like Gillette who practically give razors away then shaft you with the blades: they make the money on ink cartridges. So buy the one that has the cheapest cartridges and sells them in individual colours so you don't have to throw a gallon of unused red away when you change them.

Try this software, it's a mare to use but it sorts out the main "printer needs a service" type problems.

Epson R300 is a quality printer Monty and well worth saving if poss.

Whats up with it? Careful what you spend though, you can pick one up on eBay for £30-£40.

its my father in laws (well maybe future father in laws) i got him one after i bought one myself, somehow hes fecked.. i dont know the full sketch of things at the minute Mr I but ive been told theres a Epson repair specialist in peterlee so i shall pass him the advice etc..

oh btw any ideas about me laptop

occasionally it goes into standby, its only happened since i tried taking your advice (totally different thread when someone was on about there pc running slow) re stopping programs running in the background confised

Ah, important bit of info. Sounds like you've turned of the power management.
