Yeah their has been a pandemic at the club- very infectious and has ripped through the squad.
The first reported cases happened at the end of August and it's only just starting to subside some 6 months later
They did manage a Christmas party though, whilst the fans were utterly miserable and isolated
Might have to send for the vet, so he can pull a curtain round when putting those most effected and beyond saving, out of their (and our collective) misery

In all seriousness, he is injured. I remember the physio giving an update on the various injuries and Umerah was mentioned. He is some time away from a return to the squad.

Physio gave an update a few weeks ago and said he has sustained a bad knee and ankle injury against Oldham - he has a torn meniscus, MCL and ruptured ankle ligaments so will be out a little while.

Remember having a torn 'Beano' when younger, must've caught the edge of the letterbox when posted, tried to get a couple of weeks off school but my mum wasn't having it.

This has been going on since long before any injuries, the body language is blatant.
I’m all for having understanding for a players injuries, but this is long term sulking with no excuses.
Views will differ.

Be Careful what you wish for. Advocating that you will get you the club you deserve.
I don't think KP will give dross anutha chance and that's what the vast majority of these out of contract players are.

So the majority of Poolies with a tad of ambition to get back to the Efl sharpish should have no worries.

KP won’t be carrying passengers and I suspect if he doesn’t respond he’ll get a seat in the naughty corner…..

he wasn,t a passenger till askey arrived though. there always seems to be a player who gets out of favour and their form dips when a new manager arrives. you can get them going the opposite way also. he cannot respond at the moment due to that freak injury at oldham, but will be interesting though if he does get a chance which player we,ll see.

Two possibilities.
1. He could get fit and start scoring again and sign for a League 1 club at the end of the season.
2. He could get fit and continue to be shite leave at the end of the season and sign for Dover Athletic or some such.

I dont think there is much chance of him staying at Pools which is annoying cos we paid Wealdstone an undisclosed fee for his services. I guess the plan would have been to sell him on and make a few quid but instead, the money is wasted.

best chance for us really is doing a swap deal with someone elses version of him who had done it before but not doing it at the moment.

His contract is up at the end of the season so he can go to any club who'll have him. My guess is he'll sit tight and take home his pay then move on in the summer rather than go n loan or put himself out in any way, I'm guessing he'll be out injured for at least another month so he'll only have about eight weeks left in a Pools shirt if KP selects him.

No idea, mate. If we do have an option on him, we might get a fee or he will have another year of paid sulkery unless of course KP can get the best out of him.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up at a club around the M25.

If he can't motivate himself to take advantage of working with Kevin Phillips, to help improve his game - he may as well fuck off - fee or no fee

Aye, everyone else seems to have responded, but I suspect KP won’t need to play him to decide if he’s part of his future, he’ll be someone who goes by a player’s general attitude anyway.

I don't think Askey's man-management skills were applied to Josh. Askey should have put his arm around him & said along the lines of "You may be disappointed if the club has refused offers for you, but the only way you are going to make a successful career is by working hard & putting in the effort. That will put you in the shop window at a price the club would have to consider".
As it stands, possibly our only asset of worth from last season may well leave out of contract.
Josh & Mani D could have tortured this league, if only we hadn't a leaky defence

They could still have tortured defences regardless, but Josh lost interest last season and it just carried on….and no way would the fans have approved if Raj had sold him.
End of the day, it’s down to Josh.
