Leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, no chance of him coming to Pools as he has said he won’t manage another club in England.

To the best of my knowledge Blackpool have never been known as "Pools". Hartlepool United is known as "Pools" because the town was once divided into two Pools: West Hartlepool and Hartlepool. The two pools were amalgamated in the 60s and while journalist tried to refer to "Pools" as "Pool" after the amalgamation it never caught on and "Pools" is Pools. So in my joke, Jurgen Klop would never have been going to Blackpool because Blackpool have never been called "Pools".

Thank you for that brief history lesson Ozzy Saltburn. My dad is still very sore that the West had to be dropped and was taken over by a fishing village

Because of the merger, we are the Pools.
All the rest are Pool, singular.
We will always be Hartlepools United for me!

wan,t it jack charlton who used to say the 5 years at a club is long enough no matter how succesful you are. klopp has done longer than that so he.ll be looking for a new challenge or early retirement.
