No great surprise, given the length of time this has dragged on. Just hope the manager/head coach can galvanise the players & recruit decent individuals to improve the squad.

What an utter turd of a statement. Its like Putins propaganda team wrote it. Twisting the consortium s anonymity into some kind of safe guarding protective gesture from a benevolent and selfless Raj. Its clear that it isn't HUFC anymore. Its Raj's toy football club. For me personally I'm no longer interested in that sad shadow of the club it used to be. Only the badge and name remain. If people want to cling onto that I can't condemn them for it.
It's hard to let go but I hope people switch on and realise exactly what this is. Bye bye HUFC. Was nice knowing you while it lasted.

That's a well written statement to be fair, he's factual and to the point, he's stated nowhere in that statement he's pulling the plug in February liked rumoured and also stated financial backing is being given to KP now to galvanise the squad and the uncertainty are the players now should help their game..

I am not 100% happy with him in charge but I'm not sure what anybody expected him to say? It's better the devil you know, he's backing us whilst taking more of a back seat role, and he raises good points, we heard from the consortium member about issues Raj had now told us his side..

Let's just back the lads Saturday eh? They need it

He told the previous managers they were getting money too

I expected him to spout more fireside bollocks to be fair. He didn't disappoint.

Raj Singh will know who’s in the consortium, he’s been in contact with them. Posting a paragraph that leads into fans concerns especially mentioning the trusts involvement as a negative then going but I didn’t think any of that is not a good look.

Would also be interested to know how the approach from Carlisles new owners who have spent heavily in January was either speculative or time wasting

Not exactly sure how that's funny? this is bringing back IOR out Vibes, the chairman isn't selling to just anyone, some people call him greedy, Maybe hes just making sure it goes to somebody who can run it? I am not 100% happy with Raj as stated but that statement is fair, i think your letting your feelings for Raj get ahead mate to be fair

Raj is here to stay simple. I do not like the way he has run this club over past 2 years but it's time to move on. I would rather him stay than the consortium take over. He is giving his backing to the manager regardless of what some of you may believe. If he had bad intentions there is no way on earth he would increase his commitment to the club at a time he is supposed to be leaving...think about it sctatchinghead

Wow, people really are drinking deep of the Kool Aid. Raj isnt doing any this to be protective of HUFC. He wouldn't get a bettter chance to sell the club into more safe hands than people connected to the town. He's converting the cost of driving the club into debt anyway. Any bugger can do that! Its up to you. I'm not buying this streaming pile of crap because it has glitter sprinkled on it but you do you.

We knew Raj had already killed one football club when he came to us. Yet still he was welcomed.

I know the bloody cheek of the man, saving the club from going bust. We've all resented that ever since.

I would certainly be interested to know as well and I'm sure others would too, so when you find out the facts of the matter please share them with us.

Nobody is voting for anything, we are not allowed that privilege sadly.

Turkeys voting for Xmas? When was the election?
How many times does it have to be said, we haven't got a say in running the club?

Were you around during IOR out days? Begging them to sell to consortiums? See how that turned out? If you have a love for your club come and back them Vs York, he's brought in two quality signings already, not sure you spotted that?

Well it happened and was a tie. As I had the casting vote I abandoned it. Your vote would have made a massive difference had you been able to cast it. My fault as me and Snowy were dealing with it in his shed and Ratboy chewed your ballot paper. Sorry mate.

So it’s ’Bye bye HUFC’ but you’re going to hang around on the Bunker like Jacob Marley’s ghost to Raj’s Scrooge? Laughable posturing.

Having noted your concern about player recruitment, you'll be pleased to know that two new players have been announced today.

Yep, just getting me some popcorn before the absolute shitshow starts.

You seem to have a very deep rooted hate of Raj sctatchinghead The sort of hate that has dragged on for many many years the sort of hate that was growing and growing inside you well before Raj even became owner. Will the real Pooly imp please stand up

No, just a deep rooted love of the club. I dont have any deep rooted hates. I have pet hates yes, you know gullibility and the like.

So it’s ’Bye bye HUFC’ but you’re going to hang around on the Bunker like Jacob Marley’s ghost to Raj’s Scrooge? Laughable posturing.

The fact Raj Singh appointed a new manager indicated he had no intention of selling Pools, if there had been anywhere near a successful take over he would have left the appointment to the new owners.

Just out of interest what would I have been voting for? And what were the options, I presume they would have been Raj / Consortium / Reform?

Apparently for Christmas,

I said only the other day he’s going nowhere because he simply doesn’t walk away.
The deeds done, let’s get behind the team.

Raj Singh will know who’s in the consortium, he’s been in contact with them. Posting a paragraph that leads into fans concerns especially mentioning the trusts involvement as a negative then going but I didn’t think any of that is not a good look.
He’s said he’ll back managers before let’s see what happens now. Remember we got rid of 5 loanees at the start of Jan and brought in a striker on loan who Barrow didn’t want and a permanent centre back. We’ve then sent 2 more players out on loan so I’m interested to see if this significant investment will be visible on top of this p

Having noted your concern about player recruitment, you'll be pleased to know that two new players have been announced today.

So 7 out and 4 in. Parkes and Waterfall both very good signings, reckon Askey could've done with either of them 6 months ago. Duffus isn't looking great and don't know enough about Khan to comment.
The rumours of 2 Grimsby players coming in started last week before the takeover bid was rejected too.

I thought it was a pretty fair statement, let's see if the backing follows.

Two new players in today, so it's started.

Well this is a shock isnt it, im not sure we had to wait till Thursday for this news but hey ho.

Just a couple of things dont quite add up. Raj says confidentiality was broken on social media platforms. Erm raj you came out and made a statement Saturday, before anything was said so are you talking about yourself?

You then say i have taken a step back since April, that will remain in place but then says significant investment will be provided to the manager? Raj dont play your role down. If your providing significant investment to your manager, thats no step back your a hero to many if thats the case. Does this significant investment mean release 7 and bring in 4 or does it mean significant investment?

Anyway looking forward to popping round for tea next week.

We're not party to the confidentiality agreement so hard to say who or how it was broken.
We haven't released 7 have we? Most have been loanees retur ing to their parent clubs (are we missing g any of them) a d 2 sent out on loan to Scotland. So none actual released, we may still be paying something towards the wages of the 2 Scott's.

Nothing at all wrong with releasing them and trying a different path, but lets not be fooled thats its going to be significant investment, its releasing players to bring more in. But if he says significant investment coming then we all should look forward to some really good players coming.
