Played on the Isle of Man on Saturday in the North West Counties League and the players & supporters are still on the Island, as the stormy weather has stopped all flights and shipping.

Some nice hotels in Douglas but although the shopping is fine it is a bit limited so not a lot to do in January.

plus all the extra cost involved. who will pay for it the league, IOM side or kendal themselves. suppose the brains at the top never thought about this when they were included in a league thats just about semi pro. wonder what their firms think when there was a no show on monday from them also.

I think their extra costs are being met by the local FA & Ryanair but surprised there were in excess of 250 Kendal supporters.

Other strange going ons were a flight from Manchester to Bristol ended up in Paris!

And another flight, not sure where ended up in Cologne, Germany!

I just think it was potty boarding some of these flights knowing you were either coming back to your original departure airport or landing in another european destination.

Manchester to Dublin tried to land in Belfast and ended up in Paris.
A flight from the Canaries to Edinburgh ended up in Cologne.
