Trying to remember last time we had two wins on the bounce and can only think it was in the golden days of August/September. Can Pools put in two solid displays in a row? Remains to be seen. Mancini will probs be cream crackered and Manni D still not quite ready. Fingers crossed.

Duffus is due to at least notch once. Hopefully home league debut !

I think given we are setup a little better and probably take confidence from the weekend gone.

2-0 Grey and Duffus !

Duffus did come with favourable comments from Challinor who was attending the Fylde match and said he was a good character to have in the dressing room….(hopefully on the pitch as well)

For me he hasnt done too bad - he alot better than some of the other league hopefuls we have had through the door in recent times.

he should be doing all he can to really show what he is worth and get a shot back at the league - hes played most of his career in there the last few years so hes no fud !

He runs about a bit too which is a bonus !

For Dufus to score we'll need to create some opportunities for him. Need some width and pace in the team to get balls into the box for him. Worked his socks off on Saturday but not in the areas where we need to be due to lack of service.

Pools 2 Kidderminster 1.

Tight, scrappy game, but 3 points secured.

Agree he won some loose balls and chased down some - that energy needs to be used with balls through to him and over the top. Sometimes it takes a good midfielder and forward to just click. Hoping Cooke has the vision when hes back to maybe create more for him. The team all season and last has been crying out for wide men and wingers, we actually did have 2 half decent ones but let them go. Wonder how McDonald and that other fella are getting on.

Whatever the result it will be a tight game. The Kiddy defence is not bad, even though they are rock bottom they rarely get hammered. They have conceded 3 goals only on three occasions. If our defence had performed as well as their's over the season, we'd be challenging for the play offs.

I'm going for KP first defeat of the season, with the booing and whining, calls of you don't know what your doing, get out of our club, sack him he's useless etc etc as guaranteed some fans will be like this.....

3-0 win, Grey, Cooke, Manici... 3890 (50) then I wake up Wednesday morning having dreamt that :angry-tappingfoot: bbolt

Looking at the weather forecast it might be as well if it’s called off.

Some wind assisted moves.
Maybe even a Brian Honour style corner kick goal.
2 2.

really hope for a win tonight if only to put a few hundred more on the gate for saturday with everyone in good spirits and feeling positive for KP first game in charge. on top of that it would give a good thankyou to LL who has turned things around if only slightly.

all easier said than done if we move the ball quickly like we have done at times the goal must surely come. might be better us playing against the wind as it will hold up more and then they can over kick their passes.

Most blatant penalty ever not given.
Abysmal refereeing.

I think Duffus must have shagged the refs wife or something. He’s been mugged three times and got nought.

We desperately need to sign 7 or 8 proper players urgently because this lot are a team of very average National League NORTH players nothing more than pure dog shit rakxe Only Mancini Dodds Parky and Mani D are real players the rest are imposters taking wages and robbing the club. banghead

How the f did Crawford stay on there? What game are three coaches watching? Did nothing. No positive contribution whatsoever. Took other midfielders off. Weird. Disappointing stuff. They just wanted it more.

Just so typical. Hopes built up then shattered. Hope those new players arrive pretty damn quick. I see York won away so they'll be full of confidence for Saturday.

What is it with Pools against teams at the bottom of the league, unreal.
Relegation for sure with that sort of performance
Wish we had Phil Brown

I don’t think anyone seriously thought we would get playoffs, after York the games get harder. Cue the ‘the lads performance has improved but we just haven’t turned it into results’ quotes….fucking
Sick of the whole thing

Philips can see now what a job he has on his hands. Too many players just not good enough for this league, clueless, weak as piss, no fight, no skill.

Don't effing say you want a team who leaves everything on the pitch Kevin and then they don't put a challenge in. I'm picking on Crawford but he epitomises everything that is wrong. It feels like he has been here 3 or 4 years, spent 18 months injured, scored 3 goals, made 6 assist, 236 backward passes and 6 tackles. If he doesn't give the ball away to the opposition who then go on to score he feels like he thinks he has had a good game. Nothing against him personally. There's a few of them just need to go. New manager in the stand. Poor stuff.

I thought we did alright in the first half but our lack of a solid forward really showed. Second half we were very poor and were let down by a lack of any options (at all) on the bench. I groaned and felt pain with each substitution.

I hope Duffus is only on a one month contract because on tonights performance he's really not what we need (can't pass, can't shoot, can't run, can't dribble - probably got a good agent though).

The likes of Ferguson, Featherstone and Crawford would have been shipped on by now by any club with ambition, they are mediocrities/gone stale and would benefit from a change too, is all too comfortable
Really hope we chase the likes of Cooke as well at the end of the season before he gets his feet too far under the table

Dufus could be forgiven for being out of sorts. His first few touches were very poor. Saying that he had no service or anyone playing up top with him. Cooke looked better than Crawford when he came on. But that's not hard.

We keep signing lads who dont get goals and expect them to score in a team like this, just isnt going to happen.
