Just looked at the league table and I find it incredible that despite our poor season we are still only seven points off the play offs. If the new manager can put a bit of a run together we could be in the mix which would be astounding considering how shit we’ve been.

Several ifs in there though….

Just goes to show how competitive (shit) this league is!
IF (and that is a huge if) KP can get a bit of a new manager bounce and we manage to string a few wins together (and what with ManniD on his way back) we could have a sniff in and around the top 7

Surely the forward line have got to improve with KP in the building, not going to get a better opportunity than working with one of the best finishers (back in his day)

I know, even though most teams have 2 games in hand over us...

Why not, hopes and dreams are free.
Expect shit all the time and the Gods will be happy to help.

Not even thinking about it.
It's all about clearing out the deadwood players.
Majority out of contract so that should look after itself.
And Goin with a smaller better squad for next season.
I believe in KP.
But main thing is for the off field problems to get resolved to realise all aspects of our potential.
Because as it stands now we megarly underachieving and been miss managed big style.
Ist step positive feels like Administration n relegation won't come into play.
Hope n Kill

Probably anything is possible this season.
Wembley play off final or administration.......take your pick.

However, don't forget to that we are only still 7pts off relegation, with teams below us having maximum of 2 games in hand. As said above, I hope KP can put a good run together and work out what he needs for the rest of this season and to start building a squad for next season..

Points in the bag generally pay off more than games in hand, as it stands none of the bottom 4 could get to less than 3 points behind us if they took maximum points from games in hand.its going to be interesting to see how we play tonight, KP has suggested more long ball may be required - have we got the players to support those tactics? Dufus and Mani D look as if they'll be OK as target men, but who'll be on the spot for 2nd balls? Whenever we've played with a target man there's usually been a huge gap between striker and midfield.

Wealdstone have 4 games in hand on us - and others around and below us have 2/3. I think its a little too late to be thinking we can make the play offs... but i wont say its not possible. Given those teams could all loose or draw those games in hand. We must win the next 2 and then ill be a little more hopeful. Id imagine the players KP is looking at bringing in are better than what we have so this will be a mega bonus for us.
Ideally get Mani D back up and running and even if we finish strong just outside - id take that for now given the state of the club.

Next season aslong as KP does a good enough job and can keep his job - hopefully we start the season like we did this time but manage to keep the consistency and stay in the top 3.

we are really not good enough for promotion and too good to go down. both situations would be bad for the club and KP where he should be concentrating on next season and who he can take with him from this to next. he has hard enough of a job without extra pressure put on him.

Here we go again talking about promotion. Never think more than one game at a time. Prepare thoroughly to win and give 100%. And slowly move away from relegation zone

Agree, treat every game like a cup final and see where we finish.

I think the sensible course is just to take things one game at a time, regardless of which side of the argument you’re on.
No harm in dreaming, no harm in being realistic, but it’s early days and we’ve been here before, but he seems confident enough and knows what he wants.

Lets beat the bottom team first, we were pretty garbage Saturday and Ebbsfleet were worse, so lets see an improvement tonight.
