Say what you like about Raj (and I have, I do and I will continue to) but this club is still functioning.

And then he goes out and puts out a statement like the one that went out today. Basically the club is in the shit because of people who have no business whatsoever with the club. Raj, just do the right thing, I think you want to be thought of as someone that did.

Well I think he has done ok lately to the point where he appears interested. He does tend to retaliate though but who can blame him after the stick thrown his way. If this consortium are as serious as some would have them painted he won't be here much longer but if this person who seems to have broken ranks with thinly veiled criticism of his negotiating techniques goes any further he could put a spanner in the works.

So the guy that apparently wants to sell the club, basically blames the takeover for the last 9 months? a few days before they go back to him. Smart move that isnt it? Great business move.Yet you pick out on a response to this crazy statement as possible spanner in the works.

Id hazard a guess this guy is going nowhere in a hurry.

I personally think and have always said, he's not interested in selling, he likes being in control of the club, he's invested to much time and effort into the club.

An Oil Barron could come in and offer a £10 million for the club tomorrow and we'll still be in the same position as we are now.

Like, love or hate him, Singh still owns the club and still invested for now.

New Manager, Kevin Phillips
New CB, Tom Parkes
New players apparently.... sctatchinghead

Maybe watching boro beat Chelsea has awoken him to the fact that he could of been a good chairman, had success etc.

Maybe he has realised that could have been us in a similar fashion (Semi final of EFL cup, 4th round FA Cup) if he invested correctly after DC left.
Hopefully it's rekindle some fire and love for the place.

If this rumour is true and if he is as good as you say, you wonder why Grimsby are letting him go?

Because he currently plays in the league above and maybe that's a step too far for him these days

i could have just been lucky and the few times i have seen him play he looked one of their best players. a bit like my lad when he saw pools with woods having a good game and could not understand why fans were negative about him. could be thats the reason signings do not all come off. you can watch a player, get their stats but there is a limited amount of time any club can concentrate on just one single player and need to make a decision on them sooner or later.

Sometimes new managers take time to assess their squads in preperation for the coming season.
Bringing their own signings in, Who knows.

Good on his day, anonymous when not his day, not sure what he'd bring. A Sylla type would be great, but so would someone with a bit of pace and trickery out wide be.

Rob Law Confirmed the Gav Hol thing as just rumours and isnt happening. However he did say there was to be players coming in.

Id say we are hunting in the right direction if the likes of Waterfall are coming our way. Very strange if Grimsby are letting him go but you never know then also might have better lined up from else where.. the domino effect of transfers...
Always helps when a new manager with some credability comes into the fold - id imagine a lot of players will like KP and want to work with him. One of his trait from Shields was his man management with the lads and giving them some confidence. Lets hope he does it in abundance with the likes of Crawford and Grey whom i think could just do with that little extra in their games to really make them stand out in this league.

also any news on Cooke - didnt realise he was crocked ? kind of missed him a little although i think what Wallace brings in the defensive terms helps us out as Cooke doesnt do any of that which was needed at the weekend.

Also ill agree - Raj is setting his stall out, hes saying look i can run this club. Bring decent players in etc and im not going anywhere. I think his ego wont let him part to a fan owned consortium if im honest !

You could be right about Raj, maybe he has had a change of heart, then again maybe not. Having now met the consortium he is having second thoughts. Who knows. as much as we want clarity we'll just have to wait, as usual.
Both me and Snowy said months ago that we wouldn't be surprised if he stayed on. If he did I would suggest as I did then that he gets a football CEO like Russ Green to run the club for him, Hodcroft put a lot of store by Green. Try it Raj.

Yep we absolutely still need in place a CEO whom has ran football clubs and had some success ! I know we have people currently acting as chiefs and directors and what not... but i feel a Russ Green Character wouldnt go a miss at all !
