Sitting back and letting them have 2/3s of the pitch, likely to not end well.

A godawful game but the result is much more important. A 1-0 ugly win is very welcome.

Three unexpected points gained. Just shows if you dont give goals away for fun you have more chance of winning.

Well done Pools. If we are going to stay up we need more performances like this. Clean sheets bring confidence. We looked solid and for the first time for months I felt that the players cared and worked as a team. Yes we were shit upfront but who cares. We can build from this. I am not interested in promotion just steering the team away from the bottom 4 and mid table safety. Agree about Parkes good signing

Kiddy we’re playing Aldershot, who are going through a nightmare phase…and even they put 2 goals past kiddy.

No disrespect MrI, But we controlled 90% of the game.
We effectively stopped them playing, And they did not have a plan B

Pools looked solid at the back. Apart from a neat back heel, Mancini did nothing in the first half. In such a scrappy game it was going to take a touch of quality to break the deadlock and Mancini provided it and the three points. Without him, I cannot see from where we are going to get goals.

Thats why we are all desperate to see Manni D back from injury. Next Sat looks a possibility.

We could definitely do with a pacy winger or 2 in the squad. We created nothing at all for Dufus today.
Massive 3 points for us and that's more important than performance. One mome.t of quality in the entire match.

Two clean sheets on the bounce, new manager, worldy strike from Manni, seven clear from drop zone, word that there are four bodies lined up to come in and good news for the doom group as we are now only seven points off the play offs.
Oh and a proper centre half plus Manni D getting near to a return.
Twinkling lights appearing at the end of the tunnel.
I knew Gladys the tea lady would turn it round.
Not forgetting Lennies six points from three league games.
17 games left, let's see what we can do.

Yes its glimmers of hope, not hard to get glimmers when you get one half decent defender in, imagine if we had two or three? Might even be fighting for the play offs if we had someone to go alongside manni d, earlier in the season.

Gladys has started the ship turning hopefully albeit against the dreggs of the league, lets hope it continues as we play some better teams along the way too.

Hopefully 3 pts v Kidderminster to set up a bit of optimism for a 5000 crowd v York.
Our club got plenty of potential. Just needs to be realized by the new owners if they are allowed to get on board.

Two big home games now, think we all snatch your hands off for 4 points out of 6. Hopefully get a win Tuesday and get the new manager bounce on Saturday.

always delighted with an away win especially with a clean sheet on top of it no matter how the game pans out. you never know with pools after playing well against oxford we were another side at fylde. we,ll know by 5 ish on saturday whether its a flash in the pan or the side has turned things around. really anything less than 4 points in the next two games are unacceptable seeing who the opposition are.

One game at a time.
Lost count the amount of times back to back home games result in failure in the last 2 seasons and plenty before that.

Would be better than nice.
But the majority don't live in your fantasy world of outrageous hope.
 therethere.
Unless ya had a tip off we getting Mo Salah n Harry Kane on loan for rest of season.

I thought that was a secret but not only those two but Kevin De Bruyne as well. Exciting isn't it. KP is working on a new goalie as well.

My opinion is we played a crap side and edged a nail biting win with a moment of brilliance. We beat Eastleigh at home and we lost our heads. We beat Oxford at home and did the same. Both wins superseded a run of embarrassment.

The marker of this team is going and beating Kidderminster and York now. A treble of wins. A run of form. Until then, they’re still an underperforming, meek National League team, as they have been for weeks on end.

Think that's a fair assessment Big dog - got to be putting the likes of Kiddy and York to the sword at the Vic- absolute minimum of 4 points required
