Stuart Maynard, the Wealdstone Manager has just been appointed Notts County boss.

There are Managers out there that could do a good job for us but, and a big but, do they want to come here,

1) In the position we are in?

2) The players we have?

3) The record of the Chairman?

4) Probably no money & no hope?

Answers on the back of a postage stamp!

Notts County taking a gamble in my view. You would expect them to go for an experienced FL guy. I bet the Wealdstone boss is thinking all his birthdays have come at once.
Three and a half year contract!

the owners there are pretty switched on , do a lot of analytics, doesn't make them infallible but they definitely do their research and dont just go on some gut feel at an interview.

Supply and demand, regardless of the clubs reputation there’s always a line up of ready and willing applicants fighting to go over the top…with the same casualty rate sadx

Under this Chairman any manager that can be successful improves there CV Monumentally to be wanted somewhere else on higher salary.
As King David can verify for.
The majority fail majorly even with good previous.
So there will always be plenty of candidates attempting to live the footballing dream.

at least pools do not get 5 all draws. they keep the score down to 4. saw notts county earlier this season and looked at the time they,d get a bollocking if they shot into an empty net if there was a pass to another player on.

when clubs used to advertise the job all league clubs used to get 30 to 40 sensible named applicants for the job. its just a case of finding the best name to suit. some actually can work without much money but cannot spend it wisely. others are just the opposite.
