Now that he has been cleared of all charges against him the winger I would try to fetch in on loan is Jack Diamond from Sunderland, he was excellent in this league and the one above for both Harrogate and Lincoln avereraging a goal every five games.

We are not short of forwards: Manni D (nearing fitness) Joe Grey, Duffus, Umerah (injured), Njoli, Chris Wreh. Six forwards on the books so why sign another youngster especially as we have no money and Raj is supposed to be going in a matter of weeks. Having said that, if Jack Diamond was available, he should be signed. Mind, if you were Jack Diamond you'd be looking for football league clubs not a national laughing stock.

exactly. him coming to pools is just pie in the sky looking at the clubs he has played for. i,d take a loanee from div.2 rather than one from the premier league as all clubs prefer to loan out players to the clubs in the highest league possible so the 5th tier is where their poorer or younger ones will come to. where the club is now we should be looking at a club who will feed us players on a regular basis even if we do look like a big clubs feeder club.

True but you could say exactly the same about other clubs not from well known places: Fleetwood, Burton, Port Vale, Forest Green etc.
One thing about being a lifelong footy fan (not just Pools) is that is doesn't half improve your Geography both English and European.

anyone who says that football is not educational they need their head testing. if kids are interested and go to games as well i guess they have more idea where places are than their mates who have no interest in the game and prefer video games. it helps them when they leave the fold and it does not phase them travelling around the country if their sat nav or phones pack in. just wonder how many paedo,s are fans of young boys of berne though.
