17 appearances in all competitions. I wonder how much each appearance cost.

Good business in my opinion getting him away from the club.

Hastie has had a raw deal at Pools, never given an extended run in the side in his preferred position, should do well back in Scotland with Accies - and surely better players around him.

A raw deal- are you pissed?!
He has been renumerated very well given his abject performances over the last 18 months.

I almost went to the Ombudsman as I thought we'd signed an imposter!

Well as they say in Jockland …’Haste ye back’….or in our case ‘Hastie, I see yer back’
Will he need to be quarantined…?

Am I the only one wondering why we're loaning out one of the very few players we've got who can actually run at a defender and beat him when we're 4 points from the drop?

I really hope this means we've got a better replacement on the way.

He was fucking shite, has some raw skill
But from a football sense is brainless, as soon
As he needs to think what to do he doesn’t know whether he wants a shit or a haircut, another lazy signing from the fat waster we had as a manager that cost us

He score a couple of nice goals, but that apart his contribution to the team was hit and miss, more miss than hit ton be of any use.
I saw no future for him and regard this piece of business as sound and starting to clear out the ‘stable’ so to speak.

Hastie showed decent pace and ability in snatches, if he could show consistency over 90 mins he'd be terrorising defences at this level. But he can't or won't so he's not worth keeping (particularly if he's on the wages he's reputedly on). Patterson is just pure dogshit.

had some ability but for me didn,t have the heart to match it. when i heard he had been sent off i knew it would not be a carbon copy of the leeds united 60,s challenge. all in all every single scottish lad we signed were failures.

Whilst at the match I didn’t realise how bad his two bookings were. After seeing the highlights and now knowing he is going it brought back memories of Jennings giving the penalty away at Stockport.

If those two are shipping out, what’s left in Hartley’s locker….?

not sure where the better players idea comes from. its their 3rd tier and below where these scottish imports came to us from. even hartley did not sign em because they were crap but looked good when they played up there. possibly someone like mancini would be a premier league hit up there.

Well unless any other club are daft enough or desperate enough to sign a forward who cant score and a centre back who is always injured we are stuck with them till their contracts finish in the summer.

Some one will sign them, then both will become good players :sad-roulette:

Yep cant argue with that. The goal he scored at York was a peach and the one away ar Fylde was even better. Definitely got ability but doesnt show it consistently enough. To be fair, last season was nowt short of a disaster.

then being a complete disaster as he was it didn,t need much extra from him to show an improvement. he has not gone from anybody but hastie to a player we got excited about being on the team sheet.

True, but when he came on as sub you always knew he had the potential to do something special. I saw him at Barnet on the first day of the season. He came on when we were 3-0 down, he scored a decent goal and won us a pen. Game finished 3-2. Two goals down at Fylde and he comes on and scores a worldy. Not claiming he was the dog's bollocks but there is no doubt he had ability. On balance its best he moves on.

He should of been so much better lets be honest - coming from Rangers we all thought we had pulled a master stroke in replacing Mols.
I watched Mols last game for Donny he was class. Showed exactly what we are missing and given we still had him and Sterry we wouldnt be in this mess at all. He does everything Hastie should be doing !
Hastie is the one trick pony - hes clueless and heartless. Doesnt show for the ball and if you watched his cameo at Oldham then say no more.
Hes dire and will go down as one of the worst we have had in the blue and white. We made a team of misfits from the last 15 years the other week before the game - shamfully the entire duff 11 came from players from the previous few years. We couldnt even bring some of the last relegation lot in there as quite frankly that team Craig Harrison had wasnt too bad on paper !
