Would not be disappointed though.

I wouldn't be disappointed if it turns out to be true but there have been a lot of stories knocking aboutso not counting any chickens.

If it is him and he remotely does a good job, only a matter of time before he's poached by Sunlun. In the meantime we'll be swamped by Mackems, not sure we want that! Need to make sure we put a clause in that charges them double the regulation compo!

Reckon it'll be a John Hughes style appointment - that was dead cert Phil Brown up until the 23rd hour, so on that basis I think it'll be some unknown quantity we've never heard of, or Lee Cattermole- who the club will reveal was our No1 target all along!

Alternatively I'll say Andy Woodman from Bromley - would be happy with him, though might need to get ourselves a plastic pitch!

Hmm not fussed either way as v unproven only positive is he left last job when
It became obvious they wouldn’t invest more that he needed, so maybe him coming means the
New consortium takeover is imminent, clutching at straws maybe

That is a blast from the past. A older lad I worked with served his time with them as a plumber and was told to go to the headland to do a job and make his own way there.
So decided the Blue Bus stopped outside the shop therefore he got the bus over…tools on knee and a 6ft length of copper pipe….the bus started to fill up and oddly enough just past Pools and near Middleton Road a woman grabbed the piece of pipe thinking it was the pole and went flying…

Our former Manager Colin Cooper has just appeared on the betting at 6/1. Where has that come from.

It's strange what scenarios people will gamble on.

Apparently it’s been crowded, but no one was actually placing a bet, just hanging about.

If it comes off he might just surprise us. A hungry young manager might just be the answer, he'll know if it doesn't work he's likely to struggle to get a decent job anywhere else.
Hopefully, fresh eyes and ideas might break us out of the doldrums we're presently in, and maybe new owners will help us kick on.

Could be bollocks but consortium in background are reportedly having a say in outgoings. He could come in and be brilliant under a new regime but if raj somehow stays for 3 months or so, supposedly going end of feb at latest, then his managerial xareer could be ruined.

He'll have an idea of what's happening regards the potential sale of the club, I'm not sure we'd get anyone at all agreeing to come without some assurances regarding his own position and future funds.

Excuse me, but your reference to …’a hungry young manager’ indicates someone fit and raring to go. That sounds very Transchubbyist, even anti-fat….so we must take care in these sometimes not to offend them……

Well if we have its a closely guarded secret. All this is going to throw preparations for the Ebbsfleet game into turmoil although the score at teatime Saturday will be the same whatever the case.
