Yeah he clearly states on you tube we asked Hartlepool to help with the travel bill. They didnt, i think its quite normal heard it before where the home team foots the bill.

I thought the rules for FA competitions is that the away side gets travel expenses and an equal share of the gate money as the home side.
We'd probably have lost money if we'd paid hotel bills on top. We're strapped for cash so why give any away needlessly?

It’s a rule that if the away teams journey means they will have to set off before 8am on the day to get to the home team at 1:30 with a 45 minute stop allowed then they can claim hotel expenses. Hampton and Richmond miss out on this by something like 2/3 minutes so by the law we don’t have to give them anything

So why would we?
