Nah, I’ll stick with the Hyundai ….. I’d hate to have a car where most owners think they actually do own the road…..and be treat with deference by the rest of us.

I judge a car by how reliable it is…….this ticks the boxes.
I never was one for getting aroused by twin carbs…unlike some I worked with Always be wary of a workmate who goes to the toilets with a box of tissues and a Haynes manual.

Reliability is definitely the most important thing every car owner needs. The rest is down to money and taste :uhoh:

Snooker commentators talking about 'centre' pockets.

Snooker tables have middle pockets. Having a centre requires two or more dimensions. E.g. Town centre. Wickets have a middle stump not a centre stump.

had a merc estate once. 4.3 litre engine but in two years of ownership and reading the manual multiple times i still never found out how to use the radio properly. not that bad on fuel though but nothing like my current weekend car a xsara diesel estate, NOT A PICASSO, that does over 60 to the gallon coming up to the vic and a radio i can work. nofancy dan stuff either that worked when it felt like and i have never used cruise control after i found whether it worked or not.

The only way to get these embarrassing smackheads of our streets is to put them in landfill.

Private landlords, why do they rent houses out to people who shouldn’t be allowed to rent a skip?

Parking, going to the supermarket and finding these mock 4x4’s taking over two bays…and those people who in an empty car park drive in and park right next to you.
I picked the wife up from the Clansman car park every night about six when she finished her ‘shift’ and sat there waiting in an empty car park, on a summers night a few years ago….a woman drove in in a white golf and parked close up to my near side…I rolled my head back in despair to suddenly realise she’d wound her window down and was tapping on my passenger side window…..I rolled it down and in all seriousness asked me if I could move my car because I was too close and she couldn’t get out. sctatchinghead
I pointed out to her she had parked next to me and the car park was virtually empty, so why park next to me ….she then said she was no good at reversing  …..I rolled my window up and thought I’ll ignore her. and just wait till the wife appears, pull out, she jumps in and we’re off… but suddenly she then drives forward in a wide circle and back into the same space next to me and was still too close stpid ….the wife suddenly appeared, I pulled forward, she jumped in, we drove off and she casually said I’d parked a bit close to that woman banghead

People who park on the double yellows outside Tesco main entrance for what ever reason. to lazy tp park up, Tesco should clamp them but obviously don’t want any confrontation.

There was at least 50 cars outside the Fens junior skool at tea today most with the engines running.
It was astonishing..........surely some of these kids could walk or get the bus?

Snooker referees.Who the feck do they think they are flexing to the cameras with their gloves on ??....decent enough game but a few fisty cuffs amongst the players or audience every now and again wouldn't go amiss.

Same for me, I live just off the top of Oxford Road, so we have Kingsley school, the 6th form college, English Martyrs & Catcote school all within our area. The arguments I have had over the years cos some idiot is parked over the drive when I am trying to go to work is unbelievable.

Same area as me, nightmare, you have to get the car off the drive and on the road to get off before 8.00 or you’ve got a problem.

Why sctatchinghead
Because I don’t know who they are ?
if you do not know the type then i cannot be bothered doing some research to name em. they are interested in subjects that most who claim to be left wing have no single interest in and possible disagree with them as much as those on the right do. it would be nice for a socialist version of reform to pop up to give the old style left to vote for.
