It's not a majority who want better, it's unanimous we all want better. But until there are significant changes we have to expect better from what we've got.
As for interest, the clubs been for sale nearly a year and nobody has put an offer in yet as far as we know. Hardly a stampede is there, and that's why we have to put up with the present incumbents because like it or not we can't change a thing.

Derwent has already told you its me and kev forced raj out with our hatred so if a a few guys on message boards and a shout at the crawley game can influence a chairman i reckon 50000 mad geordies can as well, if things were going to pot there.

So what influence have any of us had, Raj is still here and will be until he says he's going (not You, not I, not the Consortium, nor the Trust), so as much influence as King Canute telling the tide not to come in really.
There was a campaign to drive Ashley out of Toon, similarly Everton, Liverpool, Man Utd and guess what they achieved nothing, those that went did so on their own terms. The owner holds all the cards and we just have to wait and watch him play them.

So are you telling me raj isnt going because of us the fans wanting him out? Well a couple on a message board.Thats a relief for me and kev then crikey imagine if we go bust now we wont have it on our shoulders. The owner does hold all the cards thing is if fans didnt turn up the owner would soon dissapear especially with lower league teams so in part you are right but fans still have a lot of say.

As for things happening soon they are in talks to takeover so i cant imagine it being years away.

Snowy you are wasting your time. The man cannot see the consequences of Raj walking without a new owner in place. He is now widening his vitriol to the fans and the people of the Town. He has achieved nothing with his sniping ad nauseam, apart from pissing the owner off to the point that the club is now in limbo and just ticking over. It is to the owners credit that he hasn't walked away and is still recruiting when really no one could blame him if he washed his hands of the whole job.
We warned him that there wasn't a big clamour to buy the club and there still isn't. Yet he relentlessly and recklessly pursues the path of dicing with oblivion.
I really hope this consortium takeover comes to fruition because if it doesn't the only hope left to us is oblivion or the prospect of going cap in hand to the only person willing to keep us alive, that's assuming that, despite all the hatred thrown at him by Billy and Raj haters, the owner is prepared to have a change of heart. He is all we've got, folks and until that alters, leave the man alone.

You mean i told you 8 months ago when apparently no one was interested that their was interest wpuldnt believe it would you? Someone interested in poor old Hartlepool, more than one group as well ,for 100 years we have had owners and i will hazard a guess we will have another one in the next few months. Raj also said months ago that there had been enquiries, which he referred to as the usual time wasters. The Wrexham yanks allegedly enquired. They had a list of clubs they had an interest in. As yet nothing has come of any of the interest allegedly shown to us, if any serious interest was there in the first place, apart from the interest in your imagination. I only wish someone would turn interest into reality.

They are sat down having talks to do a deal? How much action do you need? Do you want the deal live on tv before you believe it.

I thought the Trust said that the consortium want to see the full accounts, and indeed the consortium make up may change as that happens, so nowhere near sat down having talks to do a deal yet. They might look at the accounts and just walk away yet as one or some of them.

The thing that encourges me to think that things are moving along is the actions of Raj.

Removes a manager who he had just given a 3 year contract to.
And is close to appointing Another (RadioTees tonight), Brings in 2 players 1 signed 1 on loan.

Is he actually Leaving, Singh that is.

He's either not going anywhere, or he's trying to protect NL status and hence his asking price. Either way the new signings are welcome, as will be the next manager.

When I want any talks to be televised I'll say so. Until such time I would appreciate if people refrain from making things up. If serious talks are taking place then nobody is more pleased than me. If they lead to an offer then that is a big step. A deal that is beneficial to all parties is the end game I want to see. That is the action required. That is just the takeover, the real beginning. A process of building trust between the club, it's new owners and the fans comes next. This is why I'm being cautious and having what I've witnessed over the last seventy years gives me good reason to take that stance.
