Reading a few posts I come across things like; Beatles/Stones, Reginald Molehusband, Kenny Bottles and many other such discussions from the 1800’s. I feel like I’m getting on but I think I’m one of the babies of the site!!

I watched a bit of walking football in Harrogate a couple of years ago. Looked like they come out of an old folks home. Still playing at 62 and no intention of stopping

I remember Kenny Bottles. He always seemed scary to us but didn’t like it when you started your chicken impression. What happened to him. Anybody know?

Football?
The last time I played football decently I broke my leg in two places…hip to toe plaster for 16 weeks…took heavy flak off the wife and when I returned to work I was dragged before the Chief Engineer and told.. ‘no more football, now go!’……
Blow football anyone…? bbolt

Anyone who is old enough to have seen service in the Falklands in 1982 IS getting on  For the record, my latest music purchase is the new Queens Of The Stone Age album - bloody good it is too. What's yours?

So true. The death notifications for members of the South Atlantic Medal Association arrive in my inbox far too often. Remember I was basically a kid down south so anyone of senior corporal or above will be in their seventies or more by now.

As for music, I was never big on buying records but the last album I remember buying was a Gerry Rafferty compilation back in the early 90’s.

It could interrupt the ‘flow’ of the game.

could never get that walking football or the laws of it. the bit i have seen is that its not hust walking but you see some getting into a good troy but are not penalised for it. when does walking become a fast trot. i,m confused.
