Tony Sweeney looks odds on to get the poisoned chalice unless a takover is much closer than we think it is. Nobody should expect miracles from him - last time he took over in difficult circumstances (when Challinor left) he chalked up 4 straight defeats in League 2.

There should definitely be enough in the squad, with some defensive additions to pick up some wins. Agree that Askey was too quick to criticise in interviews and possibly just added so much pressure on the players that they made so many mistakes through nerves and resigned to what was happening.
