The Supporters Association have been sponsoring the youth development set up for a number of years, and it is very pleasing to see youngsters breaking into the first team squad. Congratulations to Louis Stephenson on his well taken goal on Saturday
This year we have pledged £2500 for the purchase of equipment for the youth team. This target can only be achieved with the help of our supporters All profits from this years Christmas raffle will go to this fund. Raffle tickets are available in the C.F. Your help in meeting our target is most appreciated

The Supporters Association Christmas Raffle was a big success with almost £300 raised for Youth Development. We are now almost half way to our target of £2500. A big thank you to all who bought tickets. Our next fund raising event is a Quiz Night on Wednesday 31 January. This will be a music quiz followed by a general knowledge quiz. I will post a reminder nearer the time. The Supporters Association wish our members, friends and all Poolies a very Happy and Prosperous New Year.

Ian McGuckin gives us a list of equipment required and we buy it and then give it to Ian. In this way the SA can keep a track of expenditure and the money spent appears as a donation in our annual accounts.

The news that two of the youth team have signed professional contracts is a big boost for the Supporters Associations policy of supporting youth development. It gives everybody a boost to see our policy bearing fruit. Anyone wanting to help in anyway can call in the Corner Flag tonight have a pint and a chat. You’ll be made very welcome.

Respect to you all there. This is what supporting the club is. Not shouting Raj/Askey out every few minutes and slating the players for not trying when they obviously are

Last night ,in the Corner Flag, the Jar on the Bar was emptied and the contents counted. There was over £170 in small change. This money will go to swell our fund to provide equipment for the Youth Team. This is another example of how ordinary supporters can and do help . A big thank you to all who contributed . Our next fund raiser is the Quiz Night on Wednesday 31st. January starting at 8pm. There will be a Music Quiz followed by a General Knowledge Quiz. What about a team from Bunker Regulars taking part. It would be great to put faces to names. Over to you.
