I notice Wallace was subbed yesterday. Was it tactical or was he injured? There were other subs as well I am guessing they were tactical. Did the new lad Brennan play like a Championship defender or was he the same as the restof Pools defenders? I notice in the highlights he tried to head back to the keeper which led to a disallowed Chesterfield goal.

I thought the back three were pretty sound, to be fair. Certainly weren't over taxed by what Chesterfield had to offer. Neither goalkeeper was particularly troubled in my opinion

What has happened to Seaman ? is he out till after Xmas like Hendrie ?

Although i dont rate him i do think him being an actual RB is better than Hastie playing there.

We have enough defenders on the books for me to actually field a decent back line 'on paper may i add' but we are always buggered by the fact one of the better defenders being injured.

Wonder if Mattock and and the lad from Shef Wed go back after the holidays ?
