Jimmy Saville, Rolf Harris, Owain Wyn Evans, Graham Norton, Owen Jones, Paul Schofield, David Walliams, Stephen Fry the majority gay men for me that’s how they got on TV.

Present,
Stephen Mulhern/Alan Carr/Kirstie Allsopp/Alison Hammond/Eamon Holmes/Carole Malone/Jeremy Vine.

Mulhern now doing Deal or no Deal on a tea time. What an odious prick he is, along with most of the contestants who all think they know the meaning of life and how they can tell each other what they should do with their box. Telling each other how much of a diamond geezer/gal somebody is after knowing them for a week or so and how much they love them. I've only watched a couple of shows and that's enough for me.
Alan Carr, just his voice alone does me, what a racket.

Past,
Saville and his ilk for obvious reasons. But just for being unlikeable twats, I'll go for Jim Davidson/Jeremy Kyle/David Icke.

A gay Vicar? If you are a BBC producer, what could be better? Oh, apart from a gay Vicar of the approved ethnicity.

"Chatty Alan Carr. Grahame Norton. Gary fuck Peterlee Walker Crisps Lineker. Roy Keane and Grahame Souness two of the most dirtiest players of all time. John Terry most overated defender of all time. Do I like anybody? Yes. Ooh ah Paul McGrath say Ooh ah Paul Mcgrath. Even now with age and dodgy knees would still love him in Pools defence along with Lidds. P.S. How is it going at Donny Mols and Jamie? Feeling very bitter tonight Poolies. Apologies.

think a lot of the names that people do dislike are the ones who have been around far too long and were not too bad when you first saw them. even savile who non of us knew anything about was different to the rest of the dj,s around at the time and was like a breath of fresh air. just think jimmy young and his type at the time. like alan carr who was not too bad when you first saw him they just grate after a time and it seems like just a repeat of what you have seen before. possibly morecambe and wise would have gone the same way if we had 10 years more of them. cannot remember his name but there was a scottish commedian who only did one show a year and was brilliant because it was fresh.

As me Dad always put it…..’ Too many Gobshites on the telly all the time’….
I remember the so called ‘new wave ‘ comics in the 80’s claiming they were here to get ride of the boring comics who’d been there for the past 20 years…… the ‘new wave’ are now the ‘old wave’ as they’ve been there over 40 years, but the tedious twats cling on.

Ron Pickering.

Rift House Juniors were on "We Are The Champions" around 1974, and one of lads selected for the show told us all afterwards that he was hanging around the kids' bogs an awful lot during breaks in the filming, and was a right nasty twat who dished out a few clips round the head if they were larking about.

Never liked him at all after hearing that.

Is this where I get to tell my Jimmy Saville story! He is defo the worst TV personality ever.

This is back in 92 before he was identified as to what he was but he still came across as kind of weird.

I was up in Fort William and got roped into being in a tug of war team that won that years Highland Games. Saville dished out the prizes etc and was lording it around the show ground.
