armstrong is not even on the bench. there is a strong rumour they want rid in january but at a price we,ll not be able to afford with loads of div.2 clubs that will be interested. its a case of him having to get rid of his home bird image he has created though if he wants to continue as a league player.

Almost got to Wrexham not long ago, Would think the deal is on the table waiting to be signed in January.
Don,t want to risk losing loads of dosh, Maybe.

Yeah, I recall there was a huge row with Armstrong refusing to play for Harrogate because he wanted the move which didnt come to pass. Their manager was understandably peed off by his attitude so he hasn't featured for them except as the occasional sub ever since. They obviously want rid but they paid Salford a fee for him so will want a decent wad for him. He wont be coming anywhere near Pools, that is certain.

if i was a manager who wanted him i certainly would want some assurance he would not do what he did at salford or harrogate. he certainly is not without his problems off the pitch but hopefully he might have grown up a bit over the last few months if he wants to get a good career back on track and not waste it. it never seemed to worry his old man moving across the country to improve himself by playing at the highest possible level he could.

Well if he does get home sick in North Wales- there will always be a place for him at the Vic. I'll happily give him a lift home- though if he can wait until the school holidays that would be appreciated - so I don't have to throw a sickie!
