Blimey, that's a strange name for a team. Formed in 2015 and based in Bootle. Ground capacity is 1,750 (thanks google) :)

We beat them during the covid season in the same competition. We got to the quarter finals that season.

It would be nice to actually get to a final at Wembley, so why not take it seriously.

I think we should take it very seriously but if it comes to a tough choice between making the play offs or going to Wembley for the FA Trophy I think I'd have to go for the play offs.

Not too dissimilar to FC United, although they were formed as a protest against the Glaziers?
Liverpool or Everton not playing that day. Could be a sell out.

I remember Sir Neale Cooper explaining his (Fergie instilled) philosophy - to win every game at every level. Always. At the Vic. At Billingham Town. Away. Everywhere and everytime.

Can't argue with that.

Remember Ferguson at Aberdeen telling a baby face Cooper pre match to take a certain player out of the game and within five minutes ‘assaulted’ the player and was off.

Probobly the best draw we could of had an away game, in a decent city, great chance to win and not the usual dull draw we could of got.

Nicknamed ‘the purps’ I think that should be spelled ‘perps’ which is very appropriate for a bunch of scousers!

Must have been a contender for longest journey of the round? All that way to bugger Bognor (as George Vth once put it).

Just purchased my ticket for £10. It's just a QR code though. I like 'old school' paper tickets, coz I'm old (60 in 3 weeks) :)

A lot of people like a paper ticket as they keep them, as a reminder of games they went to, same with programmes. Modern technology doesn't always improve things or make the experience better!!

plus there must be others like me who just could not gain entry without a paper ticket. totally refused to be forced into purchasing an item i do not want or need just to get into a game. its something i,m crap at anyway and you get a bit embarresed asking neighbours to help you out. its funny watching some of the younger end tippy tappy all day but have no clue what a bump start is if there car battery is flat.

same with me. same now as i was at school where i was crap at things that do not interest me. its slowly getting to a point where one is becoming necessary to live your life. previous inventions have mainly been luxury ones where life might have been better owning one but not totally necessary.
