Isn't the number 20 the bus that is put on for shift workers from the Bruce to Brenda Road. If so the players need to be on it and put to work...

thats about right - and its where we should be in the table given we didnt have a good start like we did.

we are a bottom 5 team just now - shows how good we are not given we couldnt beat the worse team in the league

Guess what Bromley couldn't beat Kidderminster either, they must be spite too by that logic.
Also we're not actually a bottom 5 team just now are we?
Our form at the moment is dreadful, but who knows what's around the corner? Nobody got relegated or promoted for that matter in November.

DC comes up quite often and it is a decent bet that Sticky will get promoted whilst they are holding top spot at the moment.

I am sure there are many more teams over the previous seasons where they have got promoted or relegated from the positions they are in towards the end of November.

And there's plenty haven't. All points are precious, and obviously wed all rather have a lot more, but it's the total in May that counts not the total in November isn't it?

Absolutely not, name a team that was promoted or relegated in November?
I don't dispute that teams that were in promotion or relegation positions in November have gone on to be promoted or relegated that season but that isn't what I said is it?
And there's also plenty not gone on to be promoted or relegated too.
I'd far rather we were up there than where we are but we are where we are. As far as I can remember we looked dead and buried before Turner arrived first time, or when Ronnie Moore arrived, so given there's half a season to go I won't be giving up hope based on recent form.

my body is slowly giving up on pools but my mind isn,t and never has. we do not expect much as poolies but a sight more than we are getting. we were always a bit of a music hall joke in football but now its becoming a sick one.

I could go through all the leagues and name many who were top of table in November and promoted but I'll leave you with just the one - try

But they weren't promoted in November, which is the point Mr P is making.

Exactly any team in promotion or relegation positions in November plays the rest of the season in that same division. They may eventually be promoted or relegated at the end of the season but maybe not depending on their 2nd half of the season performance.

Your point that Burnley got promoted at the end of the season just reinforces my point, they got promoted in May. Nuff said.

there cannot be many who were top of a league at the end of november who were relegated or a real struggler in the relegation zone at the same time being promoted.

You could argue form has picked up over the last 4 games which have been 1 win, 2 draws, and 1 loss.
The 4 before that were all losses.

And from our last 5 we've taken 5 points, 3rd top Barnet have taken 3 from theirs, wonder if their forum is as doom laden as this one?

have they exactly got our problems though or just their regulars have hit a bit of bad form. If its the latter then i think we are in a better place than them. There must be an end somewhere to our injuries and sickness.

Barnet are doing what they always do - having a major Blip, its why they have not yet managed to get out of this league. Also im sure the year we went up, they nearly went down. They have had a turbulent time down here. A one i think we will flirt with also. Given we are mid table yes. But on Current form we sit 20th which i think is a true reflection of where we are as a team / ability wise in this league just now.

IMO i dont think there is many teams below us who we would beat. Which makes my point in us being one of the worst teams currently in this league. We will only get better though if we sort the defence out - with that money will have to be spent on a decent RB and a decent CB.

if Burton can keep up his form and game time - get Mancini back in the mix and also hope Grey or Umerah find some form too we should be okay sitting mid table. We wont be in the playoffs and i doubt we will be fighting a relegation battle as some of the bottom teams will struggle further as this demanding season goes on into the winter months !

think there is a place in the side for burton as long as he is not needed for his defensive work. being a young lad there is still time for him to be improved in his big weakness. thought he was unlucky to seemed the one singled out for the game at altrincham for his defensive mistakes where he was not the only one.

Been thinking and can,t see what Patterson really did so wrong against York and Kiddy.
Yet found himself on the bench. May not be the brightest but full of energy which we are sorely missing.
