Another one moves on, always found him interesting to listen to.
Never realised he was 80.

Great guy....loved him as QPR Manager when I was a kid and still watch footage of him playing in the great QPR team of the early to mid 70's. Always came across as a really genuine and nice fella. R.I.P. Tel.

Remember in the 70's driving by and sometimes popping in the Royal Oak between Chingford & Waltham Abbey, the pub owned by T.V.'s father. Full of memorabilia from his career.

Saw him playing at White Hart Lane many a time.

RIP Terry. A very good coach. As a manager did his share of ducking and diving behind the scenes, but so did most of his contemporaries. You wouldn't have bought a second hand car off any of them!

Was a great coach under Malcolm Allison a master tactician and good manager always remember when he was El Tell at Barcelona doing his first media call in fluent Spanish, there must be a great team in heaven with all the recent additions. RIP

yes,but having some top players around at that period helped a lot though. do think though he,d have done a better job with the ones southgate has now and like him or not as a personality he had one unlike the grey man.

Probably but Venables doesn’t fit the squeaky clean image Southgate does.

The FA like you to fit the blazer, the rest is neither here nor there, Southgate is like the express train that gets you there but runs out of steam and stops just short of the platform and disappoints.
