These protesters are now getting a real pain in the arse and there needs to be some instant prison terms handed out - say 12 months?

I'm amazed they haven't tried to disrupt the 2 by elections today or will they try at tonight's counts?

other protesters in recent years have annoyed me like blm, trans activists and forigners on our streets like the pro palastine ones we see now but none have enraged me like the just stop oil gang. possibly because i can see some even slight glipse of aggreement with the others but not with them or other greenies.

I am surprised that the Green Party only received less than 2% of the vote in yesterday’s by-election in both constituencies, in fact it was even less than the previous election. People are beginning to realise whilst we need to try and save the planet it can’t be done in the time frame currently proposed.

or is it been the biggest hoax ever known to mankind. have the general public now realise what could be in store for them if they have to go down this route and how their present lives could be changed. its gone past recycling and having to pay for plastic supermarket bags now. if it was totally proved that the end of the world is nigh it would be different. really we only hear like all debates now only one side of things and you have to search for the other. for me there is a greater chance of seeing the end of the earth by escalating globel conflict. you only need a handful of nutters running pars of the world at the same time and thats all folks.

Nowadays there appears to be a protest group for or against just about everything. The protesters know the police are stretched when it comes to monitoring them and take advantage of that. The prisons are full. We are inundated with illegal invaders and we are all genuinely fed up with it all.
The rules and penalties for breaking them need to be more stringent and rigorously applied. What about a National Guard with Mr I in charge.

If we accept an ever-increasing World population then there really is no point in worrying about oil as the world will be destroyed by one country deciding they need the resources of another country and the easiest way is to get them is to invade. This will start the domino effect which will end up with someone pressing the big red button.

lots seem to be on which side of a debate you are on if you expect police intervention or not. let a tv licensing goon into your house or go a few miles over the speed limit at the wrong place you,ll quickly find out that the law isstill about. do a bit of shop lifting though and you,ll probebly be fine.

It’s going to be one of the biggest ever earners for companies if we try and move forward on the current green energy policies. I believe looking at the lack of support for the Greens it’s not going to happen.People look at China and India pumping all sorts into the atmosphere and if Trump gets to be re elected all the States Green energy policies will all but disappear.
I keep hearing if Great Britain leads the way in green energy the rest of the world will follow, I doubt it, we are only Britain now with out the Great.

Problem is Snowy the younger population have no interest in politics, they always say we can’t change nought, the governments always do what they want.

Just stop oil are the sort of people you meet in life who spend their time head butting the brick wall of reality.
They exist in a fluffy idealistic world that bears no resemblance to our world and have problems co-ordinating chewing a gluten free sweet and walking in a straight line at the same time…you wouldn’t want them for a neighbour.

Trouble is these people and their fellow travellers are seriously annoying ordinary people and all politicians (most of whom are their sort of people in suits) are bowing to please a tiny minority and ignoring the vast majority….. which can turn voters to vote for more appealing alternatives which don’t always turn out right.
When governments stop pandering to disruptive shouty attention seekers, prosecute them and jail them where appropriate, we might get some sanity restored.

there are those plus the others from the opposite end of the political sphere who still want britain to rule the waves and get involved on any miletary conflict they can to show britain is still a world power. any service cuts and they,ll go into meltdown. they are like the bloke who in his early years ruled the town with everyone fearful of him. 50 years on he has a wheelchair but still thinks he can take anyone on still.
