Drove up Victoria Road to turn left into York Road about 8ish this morning with ratboy and the corner was taped off there with two police cars and several policemen there also. Not good.

I fear for my kids growing up In East London. It's so common these days, it doesn't even make the news down here. Was a teenage gang fight outside of Popeye's chicken shop about 6 months ago, 14 year old stab (didn't die) but what made it worse, it was at 16:30 and these kids where in school uniform.

The trouble with knife crime is the publicity the caring media give it and the more easily lead kids think they had better carry a knife too just in case some attacks them.The vast majority of kids don’t carry a knife, but the gullible minority will think they have to.

The victim, who was robbed at the cashpoint, has been named as Terry Carney (70). Anyone know the fella?

Our elderly residents need to be very careful when walking the streets on their own especially in darkness.

over the years though there has been a number of murders in the town with longer time residents than this scum. saying that we do not want the numbers being added to as i do not think we are too far from seeing vigelanties roaming the streets to do the job of the police. prevention of crime is always far better than detection as once you are dead there is no coming back for a second innings.

Prevention is always better than cure.
As for vigilantes they will do a better job than the plod and this inept government.
