For many years we football fans have admired the respect given by rugby players to their referees never arguing or confronting them just accepting decisions. However I was surprised watching the matches this weekend how often players were confronting referees. Have they stopped the take the ball forward 10yrs rule they operated for arguing? Also a number of coaches in the newspapers complaining of bias referees.
Wonder if they are trying to copy footballs attitude to refs.

Players in Rugby must have caught the ‘entitled’ bug which footy players have had for years.

or its a case of people question authority far more than they once did. if a copper asked you to move you just did it. now there is a question of why thrown there way. same in sport where the acceptance of a wrong decision has gone. players can make em but officials are not allowed to cock things up.
