they,ll be remembering shops that sold meat and only women could have periods plus those things that flew in the sky with a non electric engine taking them to benidorm.

They’ll be remembering when food came from farms with cows, sheep and chickens, all extinct now of course to save them from being abused and now coming from ‘Nutrition unit 25’ where all alleged ‘food’ comes from.
They’ll remember going out in those car things, but now you are only allowed to venture no more than 25 miles from you post code on your bamboo push bike to save the planet and holiday at the Seaham Pleasuredome making baskets or other wokey practices.
They’ll be able to remember registering babies at birth but now having to have your sex assigned by the hospital
They’ll remember pools being played at the Vic, now renamed the ‘Stadium of Joy’ but Pools will still play football there, but football with no bodily contact or running and wearing a padded suit and crash helmet …… and all teams must have 50% men and women, and a minimum number of race and disability reserved places in the team….no team ever loses and always wins and every team is crowned Champion every year…and happiness reigns all the year round…….oh dear

need to expand on all that and write a book called 2044. remember we all thought space ships were for comics we once read and our ancestors were either fans of one heavy horse breed over another.

I think your last 3/4 lines not far from the truth Snowy, the footballers will all be skull caps same as some rugby players wear, padding the same as American footballers and women footballers in the men’s game.

Salvation Army Bands all over hartlepool in the 60s 70s on Sundays. Must have been hundreds of people involved because they were everywhere in groups of 20 / 30 playing instruments with 3 / 4 more collecting the peoples hard earned dosh. Maybe they had buses to get around the town but I never seen them on one sctatchinghead

Can see you have thought long and hard with your reply.

Can,t agree with sport though, You see all contact sport will be banned.
Somebody may get hurt, Speaking of hurt all social media will be replaced with "The Bunker"
No more name calling, But lots finger pointing will be allowed but only on a Saturday.

All Towns will have a "Bunker" where people can discuss what mighht have been, And should have been.
Raj day will be April 1st, Can,t think of a better day really.

TV will be on 4hrs a day to save Leccy, unless you have a income above £1,000.000 per annum
Most will fall just short of this, On account of there being no resources left. Well not for the plebs.

A working day will last Approx 2hrs with a 30 min break, Taken when you feel like it or not at all
If you are a arse licker.

Back in the 70s when us skint younguns used to crawl under the metal gates or crawl under the turnstiles below a paying fan. If that failed over the fences/ walls. Lastly pay 10p to the blokes on the brick block building that had ticket entry but no turnstiles behind the millhouse. I would regularly see Mr I & Paddy participating ...
