Next 2 Games:

Is this make or break time for Askey,Goodlad and Sweeny.

Eastleigh hitting a bit of form at the wrong time for us
Us being low on confidence and ravaged by injuries
Chris McMaguire and Paul McCallum ready to tear us a new one.

Chester for me could be the last straw, Financially.
And thats crucial, imo.
When Chester come to the Vic they will not have won
An away game in the league, Thats why i said last straw.

Not calling for Askeys head or the others.
And some will say forget the Cup games.

But for us even with decent gates (which will dwindle)
If we don,t pick up.
Money is vital, If we expect to bring players in.

I honestly believed the coaching staff would have enough
About them to make us difficult to beat/break down.
Not seen that which is a big disappointment.

wednesdays game did show some improvement in making us a bit harder to beat. surely we would have got a rare clean sheet with a ref just doing his job. the biggest loss of revenue would be falling gates as we hardly had marquee signings after our cup runs a couple of seasons back that had big gates on top of it in the league also.

We are still 10th in the league and not far off the payoff positions. We have lost some good players and most think the manager is sound. The catering has improved.
"dont panic"...................................................yet!

Wednesday was an improvment, Thought BW played like an away team so hard to judge.
Can,t for the life of me understand why/how the ref missed it.
Was not much of a push, But he placed his hand on a player to gain an advantage, Foul.

We are still in a decent position but the tide has to be turned or the season will be over.
Just wached the pre match interview on Utube and Askey looks like he is under pressure.
Unfortunately

I guess three 0-2 home defeats on the bounce makes a visit to the Vic less inviting than if the results had been better. Not make or break, but the early season optimism has taken one hell of a beating.

9 games and we will be HALF WAY through the season, 27points to play for.

We have 19pts from 14 games.
If some can,t see what the "next 2" are then i give up.

We can say injuries, officals, luck are we allowed to say Attitude, work rate, desire.

Lets see what tomorrow brings.

Think we also have to say freezing players out, playing them out of position, formation and tactics too.

would like to know the real reasons why we never see prutti or hastie not being on the bench and bloody fanney seems to be a regular starter.

Is Hastie on a contract which requires a payment after so many games because as much as I wasn't impressed last season the little camel's this season have been exiting.

Both been deported for pretending to be footballers - authorities are fuming. Believe they could be Rwanda bound - just waiting on Cruella to send the boarding passes- she said it was her top priority but has been busy at Conference this week. My sauce told me that she was on her way from Manchester and was hoping to be at the Vic, for the beginning of the second half! bbolt

The "No borders for any Fooker" and "Care for Calais" so called charities have mounted a legal challenge and organized a demonstration at Teeside airport so they wont going anywhere until three years of legal wrangling has been completed or their contracts expire.

Football contracts sometimes defy logic, if you are fit but never play a certain number of games or even just aren’t good ay your job should be grounds for cancelling your contract (injury excepted) because that’s how it works for the rest of us.

you can add also they should be part of the discipline procedure other workers have to go through like starting off with a verbal warning and increases in severity after that.

Aye, verbal warning, written warning and final written warning….even if you’re discovered to be crap, you should be putting a shift in during training.

I started this thread on Oct 6th

Although the Eastleigh game was a good result and welcome 3 pts
They (eastleigh) were not very good, If truth be told.

Today we must have lost in excess of £30,000 or more
Gate down as you would expect being fa cup week.

Although i like Askey, The fact today the players could not
See THEY had to diverse in their approach, After 10mins
Or so baffled me. And begs the ? what the hell is going on.

Umerah was fuming, but to be fair he's not playing well and the partnership with Mani D just isn't working is it?
Noticed Sweeney sitting back on the bench with his head in his hands for a good while 2nd half.

Umerah hustles and bustles. That’s not enough for a striker. I’m 62 still playing hustle and bustle but don’t pick up a wage and call myself a striker.

I think next 2 or 3 games are make or break. Crowds are starting to dwindle now and getting on players backs. To be fair to the supporters they have been patient. You can only give so much! We now to see another side of Askey. Is he tough enough? Why is he not motivating the players. I remember Cyril Knowles taking over when we where having a similar time. God that guy was tough. He would have scared Hammas off. The players where so scared of him they played their hearts out. Sometimes you gotta be tough rather than tender

OK, you can only coach players so much but come on, when the young boro lad came on in the second half, surely the rest of the players could see that he wanted the ball and had his head up, it was clear that he was trying to find space between the lines...I was screaming at the screen for the lads to give it him and move, it was obvious he was looking for the ball all the time. The one saving grace is that he looks like a player

Probably still pissed off at not getting that decent payrise move to them 3 teams from higher up the pyramid.
Now we got a player on the pitch with a negative complex bad crack.

I said this after the Boreham Wood game and was accused of being a Darlo Fan by yourself and few others.

So you finally woken up a seen the players have down tools. Any one could see this after the Mighty Dorks game and Boreham Wood game.

The Eastleigh game was clearly a game we won, well done you spotted that one.

He’s had a negative attitude for months, he isn’t the player he was last season and just doesn’t look interested to me.
