I'm beginning to think that Joe Grey might just have found his best position, an attacking midfielder who can tackle.

Great performance yesterday. The whole team played well in particular, Jo Grey, Featherstone, both Manis, Crawford.We actually had a midfield and everyone was buzzing on the ball. Yes they give us a lot of the ball but the passing was crisp and tight. Well done lads you can only beat what’s in front of you. Featherstone was a revelation. He needs a contract till the end of the season

lets hope this is carried on into our next league game and not the team feeling some injustice after the BW result and were out to make a point.

Grey has either been told how to play that role - or watched a lot of early 90s Italian midfielders playing that N010 role.

if he can somehow graft and play like that week in week out - we wont have to worry about Mancini coming back so soon and finally might have some competition in the middle of the park. Feaths is freeing up space and being the linch pin he was before in this league. I feel this time however that we have better mids around him. Cooke will also struggle to push for a place should Tom keep putting in good performances also.

its always better to have players around that do have a guarenteed start in games when they are available.
