Zak will be a top level footballer in a year or two.Just hope he gets off to a good start tomorrow because he could be a short term game changer for us in our hour of need.

Who can all play at the back (excluding Ferguson).....surely that should be enough to pull a decent backline from.

Personally I wouldnt mind seeing 4 at the back, with Ferguson and Hendrie as full backs, and Sweeney/Burton pushing on, something to try in the FA Trophy or something

the combinatin of full backs/wing backs not stopping many crosses, and the goalkeepers not being strong on crosses plagued us all last season and seems to continue to do so--doesnt matter how many Centre-backs you bring in you will continue to concede untoil that is sorted

Seaman is great going fwd, but every team we play seems to have a very good winger....am beginning to see the common denominator in that!

What like him playing in a defence that manages to keep a clean sheet?

Not a point as such-- more an observation that if we keep.a clean sheet with him in the team - it will be a game changer for us, this season - given the amount of goals we've shipped.

no stand out teams and that includes chesterfield when they are going forward. think most of the rest could mount a play off challenge. with the players who can be available JA task is easier to sort a defence out than finding players to score goals. these are the ones that get the higher wages because of being scarce at all levels. for me that would be a bigger problem for us if we had the leagues best defence but found scoring really difficult.
