Southend United only have 15 players on the books and yesterday game 2 players were Red Carded against York. Plus an injury. So on Tuesday they maybe force to forfeit the game due to lack of players, as only got 12 players and minimum is 14, I think...

Also no youth or kids to pick from too.

think thats the last thing they,ll want to do when their future is still hanging by a thread. not able to fulfill a fixture could really mean the end of them.

If they do go and their results are expunged we would lose three points. The football Gods are certainly not looking after us it would seem.

The ref in Southend's game yesterday and in his 6 previous matches, he had reffed, had yellow carded 45 players. Yesterday he red carded a player who the opposition thought was not even a foul and then red carded the wrong player for dissent.

I've never liked having a pop at refs but more so this season there appear to be many not fit for purpose.

45 cards in six matches is outrageous. Seems like they are literally ‘Only obeying zer orders’…looks like common sense has been ditched in favour of Daleks with a whistle.

In this ref's games it must be where all this extra time is coming from?

It's getting out of hand and it won't be long before a manager takes his team off the pitch and when he does the other clubs in the same league have to back him up.
I hope they are all trying to perform to orders because if they are operating under their own interpretation then the game, especially in our league, is descending to a farce.

they are all following orders. even at sunday league adult level refs have a pre season meeting where they get advised on the new law changes and what they,d like you to concentrate on during a game. to get to even the national league level they would have proved they are good at following orders and being all things to all men at their county fa and beyond. passed my refs exam in the early 90,s and one of the things we were told was if you find you are cautioning 5 or 6 players every game then look at your performance as no one can be that unlucky having games like that every week. problem is the game from bottom to top has changed so much since then even if the laws of the game have not.

If they are following orders it seems to me that some are more zealous than others. Also some players are being targetted, like Umerah and some clubs are being denied stone wall penalties, like us.
Do these people get assessed????
I can't believe one of their orders is don't be consistent because inconsistency is rife throughout their ranks. I look back at the Ref at Oxford City. He was having a pretty good game until Josh came on and, at that point, his performance deteriorated remarkably.
This going to boil over in my opinion and the f won't stand for football, instead it will stand for farce.

The game as we all new it is slowly getting eroded away.

I’m waiting for the no tackling, no physical contact, safe space for each player ( a no go zone) and sending off for the slightest facial gesture of dissent ….and all teams to be half male, half female in outfield positions.
That should kill the game off in no time.
